Why: Camden County enters the second of their three-week road tour of Florida, this time heading down to Venice to take on the Indians. The Wildcats are going to be looking to pull off a big win after falling 27-13 to Oakleaf last week in what was the season opener for Camden County but only counted as a preseason kickoff classic for the Knights. Camden County which was shut out in the first half of the game by Oakleaf but eventually found the end zone late in the game, according to The Florida Times-Union. Venice found themselves with a convincing preseason kickoff classic win over Plant, winning that one 38-25. Returning quarterback Bryce Carpenter found the second half of the game to be his groove, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, where he threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another score. Carpenter finished the game 17 of 27 for 250 yards that included two interceptions in the first half of the game. However, given there that Venice returned a lot of their athletes on both sides of the ball for this season with some new additions as well, it could be a long game for Camden County and it could give Venice a big win at home to start off the 2016 season.
