BELLE GLADE, Fla. — The Rick Casko era is over at Glades Central — for the second time.
Earlier on Tuesday, Casko announced his resignation from the western Palm Beach County School after the Raiders dropped their first round Class 4A regional semifinal to defending Class 4A state champion Booker T. Washington on Thursday night, the Palm Beach Post reported.
Rick Casko has stepped down as Glades Central football coach after three seasons. He previously coached the Raiders from 1991-94.

Casko came back to Glades Central in 2014 after spending 11 seasons coaching Georgia and was able to lead the Raiders to the playoffs all three seasons where the eventually fell to eventual state champion, Booker T. Washington each year.
With the end his second stint, Casko will finish with a record of 59-15 — 34-4 first stint (1991-1993), 25-11 second stint (2014-2016).
Casko will continue with coaching duties until the school hires his replacement.
