Each week during the season we update the Top 25 rankings in Class 1A providing our Top 10 teams as well as provide The Next 15 teams that we have ranked to complete the Top 25 rankings. Information used to determine the rankings include record, quality wins, defeating ranked opponents and strength of schedule. It is important that teams update their information with scores with us on a regular basis each week by emailing us score reports at flag@floridahsfootball.com, sending us a direct message on Twitter @FlaHSFootball or updating scores in the ScoreStream app.  Lack of information (scores) reported by the teams will only hurt their chances of being ranked, especially if they are having a solid season.

1. Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach)
Record:
9-0
Last Week: 2
Quality Wins: Niceville, Miami Jackson, Dr. Phillips
The Buzz: The Indians wrapped up the regular season last week with the No. 1 seed overall in District 1A-1. There is no doubt that the Indians will be a potentially potent force in the district tournament and playoffs over the next few weeks.

2. Godby (Tallahassee)
Record:
9-1
Last Week: 4
Quality Wins: Lincoln, Madison County, Rickards, Florida High, Miami Jackson, Cooper City, Monsignor Pace
The Buzz: A long road trip to South Florida allowed the Cougars to grab two big wins over two quality South Florida teams in Cooper City and Monsignor Pace. They close out the regular season this week against Chiles but will be entering next week’s District 1A-2 tournament as the top overall seed.

3. Robinson (Tampa)
Record: 9-1
Last Week: 2
Quality Wins: Bloomingdale, Plant, Rickards
The Buzz: Robinson bounced back last week as the Knights rolled by Brandon and Tampa Catholic. They will close out the regular season on Monday night against top-ranked Class 2A Alonso.

4. Miami Edison
Record:
7-0
Last Week: 3
Quality Wins: Dwyer
The Buzz: Miami Edison grabbed two more wins to stay undefeated on the season including a big 12-0 win over Dwyer. Edison will be the No. 1 seed in the District 1A-15 tournament next week, but first, they will contend for the GMAC Title in the GMAC Tournament this week.

5. Jensen Beach
Record:
8-0
Last Week: 5
Quality Wins:
Glades Central
The Buzz: The Falcons remain undefeated and have claimed the No. 1 seed in District 1A-11 tournament for next week. They will close out the regular season with two quality games against two ranked teams in Lincoln and Fort Pierce Central.

6. Clay (Green Cove Springs)
Record:
8-0
Last Week: 6
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: Clay has claimed the No. 1 seed for the District 1A-4 tournament next week but will finish off the regular season this week with a game against Fleming Island.

7. Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes)
Record: 11-0
Last Week: 9
Quality Wins: Pembroke Pines Charter
The Buzz: The Cobras wrapped up the regular season last week and claiming the No. 1 seed in district 1A-13 after upsetting top-10 ranked Pembroke Pines Charter.

8. Glades Central (Belle Glade)
Record:
8-1
Last Week: 10
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: Glades Central wrapped up the No. 2 seed for District 1A-11 last week after getting wins over Fort Pierce Central, Pahokee and Sebring. However, this week should be telling as they take on some strong teams in Seminole Ridge, Wellington as well as Palm Beach Central to close out the regular season.

9. Monsignor Pace (Miami)
Record: 6-1
Last Week: 11
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: Rise a team up after a loss? Well, it is a rare thing to do, but a combination of losses between Pembroke Pines Charter and Harmony opened the door for this situation to happen. Yes, Monsignor Pace lost to now No. 3 Godby on Saturday, but the Spartans are a quality team and will have a big game on Monday afternoon against Mater Academy.

10. Pembroke Pines Charter
Record:
11-1
Last Week: 8
Quality Wins: Everglades
The Buzz: Pines Charter got a shock last week, dropping to a very much improved Boyd Anderson team falling to the No. 2 seed for the District 1A-13 tournament next week with the regular season complete.
