Ponte Vedra Sharks (4-0) at No. 16 Bartram Trail Bears (3-1)
When: Friday
Where: Bears Stadium, St. Johns
Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
Skinny: The Sharks are coming off an impressive 38-10 home win where quarterback Jacobi Myers (2021) was impressive, going 17-of-26 passing for 313 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Campbell Parker (2021) had 15 carries for 115 yards rushing and two touchdowns in helping lead the Sharks to the victory. Defensively Luke Pirris (2022) and Colin Nettles (2022) each had an interception for the Sharks as well in the victory, which led the effort defensively. For the host Bears, they are coming off a 35-10 loss to No. 3 Plantation American Heritage, one of the top teams in the state. Expect either Santino Marucci (2021) or Brody Davis (2021) to line up under center for the Bears while expecting to see if A.J. Jones III (2021) and Eric Weatherly (2022) can find an explosive performance once again after being shut down from finding the endzone last week and held to very little yardage overall.
