TAMPA, Fla. – After two season as the head coach at Chamberlain (Tampa), Joey Jaime has stepped down.
After a classified ad was posted on the FHSAA classifieds, FloridaHSFootball.com reached out directly to Jaime via text message to verify if he was still the head coach, which he verified he was not and said he stepped down last week.
Jaime told FloridaHSFootball.com on follow why he stepped down and provided this statement:
“Just want to spend time with family. My daughter is five and I don’t want to miss more than I already have. Family first,” Jaime said.
Jaime led the Storm to 3-7 and 0-10 records the past two seasons, marking a 3-17 record overall in two seasons as the school.
