When: 7:00 p.m. Friday
Where: Branca Stadium, Miramar
Broadcast/streaming info: NFHS Network
Records: Dillard, 3-1; Miramar 1-2
Rankings: Dillard is receiving votes in Class 4A; Miramar is not ranked
What To Know: While we do not have much in-player stats available, this game is still a good one year in and year out between two of the top-tier teams in Broward County … The visiting Panthers are coming off a 59-6 victory over Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes) last week … Dillard has averaged over 40 points per game since suffering a Week 1 letdown against Plantation … The Panthers have only given up 33 points through four games with 27 of those 33 points coming at the hands of Plantation … Miramar was off last week, and they won their Week 3 game against McArthur (Hollywood) 28-0 … Miramar suffered two shutouts to open the season before picking up the victory over McArthur.
Josh’s Pick: Given how Dillard has picked up the pace one would think they would automatically win, but with Miramar having a timely bye week after the 1-2 start to the season, the Patriots could be refocused and have a better game plan going forward for the remainder of the season. However, my gut says Dillard will come out on top in this one. DILLARD OVER MIRAMAR
