SPRING FOOTBALL 2025: Top 5 spring jamborees to watch

With spring football practices underway across the Sunshine State teams will be using this time to prepare and game plan for the upcoming 2025 season. However, for some teams, they take it spring football and the one game they get against an opponent and treat it as if it were the regular season, testing themselves against other quality programs across the state. However, for these teams, being able to see a couple of different opponents and split a half with other top-quality opponents have led us to the listing out our Top 5 spring jamborees to watch along with other noteworthy jamborees to check out.

1. Palm Beach Gardens Jamboree

Saturday, May 17, 8:30 a.m.

Teams: Atlantic (Delray), Fort Pierce Westwood, Martin County (Stuart), Mainland (Daytona Beach), Miami Southridge, Palm Beach Gardens, South Dade (Homestead)

Look at the teams on this list for this jamboree and you can see why it is on top. We get excited every year in recent years for Palm Beach Gardens to drop the schedule for their jamboree because it has become one of the top spring jamborees in all of Florida where teams up and down the east coast have come to participate. While some of the teams change year-in and year-out, it is nothing short of talented programs who are going to have tons of talents for college scouts to check out. Outside of Martin County and Fort Pierce Westwood, the remainder of the teams were playoff teams in 2024, with Miami Southridge going the furthest in reaching the state semifinals in Class 6A.

2. Lakeland Jamboree

Saturday, May 17, 1 p.m. at Bryant Stadium

Teams: Evans (Orlando), Jesuit (Tampa), Lake Gibson (Lake Gibson), Lakeland, Spruce Creek (Port Orange)

This is by far the second-best jamboree for spring football in the state with four of the five teams featured reaching the playoffs last year with Lakeland going the furthest, finishing as the Class 5A state runner-up. This is another spring jamboree that college scouts will not want to miss out on with each team featuring prospects that are of Division I caliber. No finer way of spending a Saturday afternoon in the Florida Heartland in the middle of May than at Bryant Stadium with these five programs giving fans a taste of what is to come for the fall.

3. Fort Myers Jamboree

Friday, May 16, 6 p.m.

Teams: Fort Myers, Lake Wales, Port Charlotte

While this is a bit smaller jamboree, it brings three of Florida’s quality top-tier programs together for a great night of football in Fort Myers. With the host Green Wave along with the visiting Highlanders from Lake Wales and the Pirates from Port Charlotte, all three teams will be looking to see what 2025 could look like for them. If you are a fan of some great football and with talent that flies under the radar, this is going to be one jamboree you will not want to skip out on.

4. Windermere Jamboree

Thursday, May 22, 6 p.m.

Teams: Edgewater (Orlando), Osceola (Kissimmee), Windermere

The host Wolverines are coming off an excellent season in 2024, but one that was played at the independent level to boost confidence in the program to potentially emerge back in the FHSAA state series in 2026 is taking the next steps. As such, Edgewater, who’s new head coach will make his debut in the spring game and Osceola, the Class 6A state runner-up will be the teams to show Windermere what it is like to go up against well-coached and talented programs that consistently make the playoffs year-in and year-out. As such, this jamboree will provide tons of insights for the fall while providing college scouts some options to scout of the talent in Central Florida.

5. Crestview Jamboree

Friday, May 16, 6 p.m. CDT

Teams: Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, Mosley (Lynn Haven), Niceville

Host Crestview is looking to bounce back in 2025 and this jamboree at home is a great way to get a test of what the Bulldogs will have to offer this fall. For Fort Walton Beach and Niceville, they will debut new head coaches, so fans will get to see what they have to offer. For Mosely, who had a tremendous regular season in 2025 that was capped off a second straight district title felt let down once again in the postseason and will have to see who is going to step-up as several key athletes for the Dolphins have graduated. For fans in the Panhandle looking to see multiple teams, this is a jamboree worth watching.
