How did we get here? South Miami started off the season a bit slow and sluggish and dropped an unexpected district game to Coral Gables that allowed on the Cavaliers to remain alive, but also kept the Miami Senior Stingarees alive as well when they defeated Coral Gables. While all three teams would like a shot at second and final slot, this is more of a redemption session for South Miami. The Cobras were the favorites early on to be runner-up again this year, despite the change in head coaches in the off season.
