GAINESVILLE, Fla. — On Tuesday afternoon the FHSAA released their first playoff points system averages for teams in all eight classifications.
While the first release is not the most perfect and changes will happen as games are made up and the rest of the season plays out, it no doubts gives everyone an idea of where their team is standing at the midway point of the 2017 season.
Most teams have been able to complete at least four games, while a few have completed five to six games.
The averages are compiled using total points so far for games played to date plus any bonus points, divided by the total games played.
Down below you will see eight links (one for each classification) that breaks down the point averages for each region and district, plus projected seedings based upon the current averages.
The most important thing to remember that this will change each and every week through the end of the season.
NOTE: Coaches should always check with the FHSAA to make sure things are correct on their team schedule. They can click here to access the master schedules for each classification on the FHSAA Football home page.
