Will these games be televised? Or streamed online?

Interesting....a Jackson alum as Northwestern HC. Cannot wait to see how that Jackson/West games plays out next year haha.

According to Dallas Jackson Brandenton Manatee will open up the 2015 HSFB season with Hoover AL. This is great for both programs in my opinion and great for HSFB across the country! Your thoughts?

I have to say despite Aquinas not being in it I am very excited for these matchups. Wish more teams were involved but I think as time goes on more teams will get involved from more states.

I can agree with that. However BTW had until Cocoa a pretty easy walk in the playoffs in 4A. I think AH in 5A did not have too tough a walk till the semifinals as well. If you had a bracket with Aquinas, Central, BTW, American Heritage Plantation and throw in a few teams like Flanagan, Columbus etc. Man that would be one hell of a fight!

I have always said we need to play BTW and Central. We finally played Northwestern, but they were no where near what they used to be. To me it makes no sense. Why go up to NJ to play Bosco when you can play Central/BTW right here. Makes no sense to me I agree.

Why would you move up a class just because ONE school will not play you? To me that makes very little sense. They would do very well in 7A though.

Why not? I just wish Aquinas was in a better district and Miramar's is the only one that makes sense for Aquinas to join. However, doubt the Raiders will be moving up to 8A.

I agree on the Cocoa statement. Do not see anyone touching them till deep in the playoffs.

I agree 100% I do not care if you're undefeated. While it would be nice, I'd rather play the best teams out there and have 1 or 2 losses than be undefeated having played a bunch of cupcakes.

Call up Aquinas for a game

I understand that, but an 8A district like Miramar's would be stronger than this new one.

I agree Josh everything is watered down! It hurts more than it helps.

I will say Aquinas/Cardinal Gibbons was a good rivalry. Two main Catholic HS' in Broward County....however once CG dropped STA from their football schedule the rivalry lost a lot of its edge. If they played today the teams on the field would not be close, but the crowds would be pretty good sized I think. However, with Gibbons not having a visitor side I wonder how it'd work if Aquinas started playing them again. Anyways, maybe one day we can get back to whooping some Chief tail on the football field!

Another weak district for Aquinas. As I said on another thread, they need to move up to 8A and get some competitive district play....

I know it isn't final, but another WEAK district for Aquinas. Ely is not what they once were, Nova is well Nova, and Ft Lauderdale is also not what they once were. I wish Aquinas would petition and move up to 8A and into Miramar's district. Now that would give us some good competition!

4A Navarre Dad Charlotte Catholic to be exact. One of the worst loses I've taken thankfully, my Raiders won but it was a hard pill to swallow

That's what I try and do JB. NFHS is a great tool to watch teams that I typically wouldn't.
