This will be a very interesting game...I think STA wins and I;m not being bias I just think we have too much. Now for Dillard...they have some pretty damn good athletes including one Dixon who I want to head down to Miami and join the canes but thats another story for another day. It'll be very interesting to see and I cannot wait! Good luck to the Panthers

Well this is very very interesting the Tornadoes and Rockets are #1 in the nation in 2 separate polls. BTW is #1 in the US Today...I believe Central is Rivals' #1. Either way this is quite amazing seeing as both these teams are loaded with talent and have their eyes set now not just on state chmapionships but maybe if they win a title a NATIONAL championship in their respective polls or both. My Raiders are ranked #11 in the USA Today but thats not what we are talking about....I think this once again proves that FLORIDA is the best state for HS Football period hands down.

Wait....How can anyone not have chosen the MUCK BOWL!! Pahokee v Glades Central...yes I know they arent what they used to be in terms of elite teams but those games have had some of the greatest players in the history of FLA HS Football play in them. Also tons of rings between both schools....awesome rivalry game one day I hope I can see one of those games in person

Dillard does have some nice talent this yr I agree with you there. Miami has a kid committed from Dillard Dennis Turner will be interesting to see what he can do vs us. I can see them making the playoffs and once youre in there anything can happen...ill keep an eye on them

Well I mean lots of people get thrown to the woodshed in the spring by some teams and come out just fine in August. I will pay attention to that game I really like Miramar over the next 2 yrs they have some amazing talent over there..cannot wait to see what they have when they come over to Piccolo this yr...love playing those boys!

All elite teams all capable of winning state titles in 2013 will be good to get a look at them right off the bat

Miami continues their success in SFLA by landing 2.5 star LB Terry McCray from Pompano Blanche Ely. He is 6'2" 215lbs Miami seems to be going after the bigger kids at LB which we need in order to contend for a national title. Love the pick up from our back yard now 15 kids from the Dade Broward PBC area!

Heard that his certificate (teaching) was up and he hasnt applied or taken the test to get a new one. DC takes over at Southridge...thoughts?

That will be a very very interesting game...Sandy Creek is a top 25 team in the nation according to MPreps and I'm sorry but I see Sandy Creek winning that I've watched film of their home games and that crowd is INSANE!!! But if youre a great team it dont matter where you are playing.

Well this is very interesting Moten has decommitted from UF word has it that he will soon commit to MIAMI. Big get for the Canes who already have Valentine in this class (I truthfully think we will keep him Golden is very good with keeping recruits). However, with Miami lacking truly good DT depth these two gets would be MASSIVE if we land them they have an oppurtunity to play right away. Also I think if Miami can really establish a very strong pipeline with STA and start getting rid of the OSU's BAMA'S etc out of there would be an unbelievable pipeline IMO and thats no bias either.

Chad Thomas of BTW in Miami has committed to MIAMI! This is a HUGE get for Miami as they now have 3 commits from BTW after many thought they had burned a bridge with the Kirkland incident and not landing 6. Also ESPN 300 CB Nigel Bethel has also committed to MIAMI also from BTW. BIG GET Miami is loading up I think for a big time run. Of our 22 commits 16 are from FLA that is huge we are LOCKING DOWN SOUTH FLORIDA once again!!!

Ever wanted to watch that old class 6A title game from 2001? Or another title game well the link I will post below gives you that chance. The oldest game they have on there right now is 1983 Manatee vs Miami Southridge the 1st title for Manatee. Sadly it does not include 2006-07 and 2011 title games not sure why but has a TON of them which should make people happy hopefully your team;s games are there. Thats what I was gonna say The Muck really helps them out there but Dade is fast catching up and I think you said it on another thread the Muck aint what it used to be so Dade should overtake or at least tie them in 2013. Broward will get at least 1 or 2 this yr as well.

Hardee county had some good teams in the 80s interesting that they didnt win one. Also a bit surprising didnt realize PBC had the most....although thinking about it now it makes alot of sense. Great list and good work!!!

As far as I know no schools offer schollys in the FHSAA if anyone does then I can't speak for them but I know for a fact STA is not a school to hand out scholarships for sports play because truthfully I feel that it'd be unfair why give some kids a discount just because they are more athletic than someone else on the team. To me that is against what STA has, and always stands for. Just my two cents but to me it is unfair at the HS level in any state at any school.

This is a question that I think can have 3 or 4 different answers but who is the face of FLA HS Football? You can make a case for Lakeland, but the Dreadnaughts haven't won a title since 2006. They have had 4 1 loss seasons since 2006 though. You can make a case for St Thomas Aquinas 7 state titles including 4 since 2007. NON BIAS: I personally think we are the face of FLA HS Football we have been a consistent team in Florida for over 20 years now with 7 state titles since 1992. What about the Bolles School? Corky Rodgers has won 10 state championships at Bolles the most recent coming in 2011. The only draw back is the fact they are not in a big class (being in 4a) however I think you can make a very very strong case that they are the face of FLA HS Football. What about the Miami area schools? Such as Northwestern, or Miami Central both have won titles in the past 10yrs. With MNW winning a national title (although about 10 teams win national titles every single yr ahhahah). Or is it another team that I haven't named here...would love to hear your feedback and your thoughts?

Couldn't agree with you more the Muck hasnt been what it once was over the past couple of years. You make very valid points but if USchool runs through their schedule with 1 or 2 losses I'd have them winning it all cause that schedule is BRUTAL. Norland beating US wouldnt be an upset IMO either truthfully.

Agreed with 7A 6A 4A in the South. I can see Apopka winning 8A again they have some serious talent up there!

USchool vs Cypress Bay will be an awesome game! Same with Columbus and Heritage. Agreed very possible Heritage could start 0-3.....can't wait to see what USchool does this yr
