T1 you know I am a defense guy, you might block it the same, but for me they will look very different.
I know that's why I put up the smiley face
Are you going to put in for Boyd Anderson?

Whether you call a 5-2 team a 3-4 team is subjective but is interesting that you never played against Hillsborough, Robinson, armwood, Brandon, riverview, or plant :-)

what happened to ELY, thought they used to be good?

49ers used it with joe Montana and Steve young, packers under Mike Holmgren used it with Brett farve then he took it to Seahawks and used it with Matt hasselback, jon gruden used it in Tampa bay buccaneers, Mike McCarthy use it right now with Rodgers, and I bielive Mike shannanhan used it with the Broncos and John elway, those most well known uses of west coast offense in pro football
yes but it really came out of BYU and Levell Edwards in the mid 80's

It's close but I give the slight edge in top teams and depth to 3A.
based on your second and third tier teams 4A has greater depth: Jones. S. Sumter, LH prep, University, Avon Park are pretty good teams
-
I won't say anything bad about them and I have never seen them but I 110% promise you that they cannot compete with many 8A playoff teams...then again "I have not seen them" so fiction?
no they cannot compete with ANY playoff teams but can win games outside of Tampa
-
probably 3A but I like both over 5A

Our defensive coordinator ran the 3-3 Stack or Nickle defense when he was with the Celtics. Works best against a Spread Offense. A very successful defensive formation for us and kept us in many games where the offense faltered.
yea Hillsborough, countyside and Jefferson all ran 3-3 stack and it can be a nightmair
Usually we must use a TE against it because of 8 man pressure schemes
-
Pro the west coast uses horizontal patterns to stretch a defense rather than vertical patters, usually 2 backs and a TE but when steve marioochi was in SF he used 3 wr's rather than a FB.
combination routs and crossing patterns are a staple
a lot of shotgun split back teams use it
Dallas in the 90's started a new brand of a vertical passing game rather than the west coast attack
it is hard to run in high school because lob passes are easier to throw than darts that break windows and the qb play in high school is often tricky
see south dade when they won state their QB was awesome. he graduated and they fell off

depends on if your schedule is front loaded or not

8A
6A
7A
5A
4A
3A
2A
1A
4A vs 5A is debatable. I'd say 4A has better teams, 5A better depth

I have never watched Leto High School play in real life. If I say that they are not able to compete and have no shot at making the playoffs and not a bright future ahead - does that make me wrong if I have never watched them?
I could also point the finger at people who have never truly seen ELITE teams play when they THINK they are watching ELITE football , when they are realistically probably watching a very good team.
Leto would beat a lot of teams in the mid west

Jeff Driskel was the Oviedo QB and Nick Oleary was the Deyer TE that went to FSU, grandson of jack Nicklaus
yes this is what I meant
-
Get out of your feelings.... In that case he would only rank those 3 teams only or any team in sfla.... I know your upset at him cause he didn't show no RESPECK to Columbia doesn't mean he does not know fla...
Bruh Dallas does not know Florida, FACT

Isn't the new HC that they got the Plant City OC from last year?
I'll take your word for them falling back a bit though. I was searching for another team that may be able to make some noise. Probably a 7-3 regular season type team?
Probably Tampa bay Tech. they got a QB to transfer from Pasco high. But they often under-achieve but are always very talented
-
Doesent 6a have Jacksonville and Tampa teams in there
Yes Fan Tampa is a large metropolitan area.....

The muck
-
Plant City might have something to say about that IMO...
Nooe! They got a new HC , expect a drop off
-
Kid signed with Florida...
Dwyer ran it when they made their run and had that TE who went to FSU
-
Lakeland used to
East bay runs a 4-2-5 pritty good
River ridge runs a 4-3 decently
Most teams in Tampa run a 5-2 cover 4
-
6A north is a set up with one team manipulating an open door policy from a large metropolitan area then running through the small county towns left like ghangus khan and the thundering Hurd, till they get to state and hit a team with a real roster and get steam rolled, unless the officials keep them in the game. Then they can "hang with" said established program 24-10 and move up 20 spots in the national poll.
Now 7A has some intrigue, I would love to see Lakeland get their mojo back

3-4, less bigs and simpler coverages
8A top 10 pre-season
