Northview receives the 2nd half kickoff

Hawthorne took the opening kickoff and run it down Northview's throat. Straight ahead power running for 6, no passes. Missed the extra point. Northview got the safety when the Hawthorne center sailed the ball into the end zone and Hawthorne fell on it. Slight rain now, but players have been slipping on the Gene Cox stadium turf since the beginning. Any insight on the surface from the Tally boys ? Hawthorne Can't throw the ball. It's 50/50 which team gets it. Hawthorne has a student body of 250. They are more physical and athletic. Northview has a good QB, and the best team GPA in their class. Student body 500.
