I think scheduling STA or a Broward/Dade type team would help Vero Beach to improve in the playoffs. It could help to show the problem areas whether you win or lose a close, competitive game.

What about Venice? I know we were down when we played you guys, but you’d figure Venice would still put up more of a fight than the final score reflected. I think the Venice vs Vero rematch next year will be better.

Ok but you’re forgetting that you guys went undefeated in the regular season with 2 defending state champs on the schedule and 1 runner up, and a tough TC team. No that’s not true I know the Vero Beach tradition undefeated regular seasons and early playoff losses it’s always the same. But this year it’s different bro trust me I know a good team when I see it and Vero Beach is a damn good team this year. They WILL win states this year, the Venice and Pahokee games really convinced me that there’s more to see in the Vero Beach football team this year.

I was talking about past years too, where Kathleen vs IMG would have been a match. I want to see IMG play Vero Beach SO BAD but I don't have the connections to make it happen.

Look at IMG’s schedule this year compared to past years. They have been playing only nobodies except for Mater Dei. So these are a few teams I want to see IMG play in 2019 and the future. Vero Beach Saint Thomas Aquinas Venice Miami Central Lakeland American Heritage Kathleen Any thoughts on this? Notice that all the good teams they don’t play are in state.

I think it would be cool if both Vero Beach and Venice won states this year so we could both say that 2 eventual state champs played each other in the regular season. And it would make the Venice at Vero Beach rematch next year even bigger.

I thought they were 8a. I guess not. Theyll be a tough team to beat in the playoffs for sure.

As the standings are now, we will probably play Gulf Coast in round 1. Round 2 Braden River, which is going to be extremely tough, especially if we have to travel. If we make it past them, rematch with Tampa Bay Tech. If we can beat them, we will run straight into STA again, and we’ll have to travel this time. If by some miracle we can beat STA on the road, who knows who we’ll have to beat in the state final game. I think Venice can do it though.

True. I think Manatee will be extremely tough to beat this year. They kept the Lakeland game within 21 points and the Braden River game within 10 points, and both of those games were on the road too. I think their loss to Riverview was a fluke. Palmetto is also going to be very tough to beat in their own house, especially with their defense this year I can’t see Venice scoring more than maybe 35 points. We’ll see. Do you think Venice will win states again this year?

This game is being played for the district championship at Palmetto. Who do you guys think will win this game? I’ve got Venice by 10. And then after that another high-stakes game against an extremely tough Manatee team. Predictions? I have Venice winning that one by 17.

Psssh as if Vero Beach has no experience with trick plays and offensive trick calls. Its the reason you guys beat Venice so badly if I remember correctly the score was something like 42-21 because you guys knew trick plays and had a good game plan. If Vero Beach keeps this up they will win states like I've been telling you for a month now.

Where is your optimism man? Manatee will be an easy win for you guys. Just worry about Doctor Phillips and Osceola. Those are your only really noteworthy opponents in the playoffs.
