As the standings are now, you guys will play Riverview in round 1and probably Dr Phillips in round 2. If you make it past them, most likely Treasure Coast in round 3. God only knows you guys will run into Osceola round 4, which is going to be the toughest game Vero Beach is playing this year. Then Vero Beach will be your Class 8a State Champions.

Why do you doubt your team so much? Earlier in the year, back when your icon was green and your name was FloTech, you said that Vero Beach would comfortably beat Mainland because they returned 75 percent of the offense. Mainland is a pretty damn good team from what I’ve heard, and if you guys can face them, why do you think Riverview or Osceola would knock you guys out of the playoffs? It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Yeah I know I was really wrong. I thought those were gonna be really tough games for them. Guess not.

1. Their defense is crazy this year, holding Venice, Centennial and Pahokee to only a combined 55 points, and all those games were on the road too. 2. Vero Beach returns a veteran offense this year with most of their o line coming back, 2 experienced wide receivers and one hell of a quarterback this year. Their passing game is insane and their running game looks very promising. 3. Confidence does not seem to be an issue for the Indians this year, it seems like they have the hunger that was sorely lacking last year. 4. Vero Beach will be at home for the first 3 games of the playoffs this year. Riverview and Osceola do not impress me. What are your thoughts on this?

That’s true, but this year it was different. People have been telling me Venice vs Vero Beach rematch in 2019, I believe it No it wasn’t, we have a two year contract with them.

One loss doesn’t matter as long as you guys are ready for the playoffs! Even the best of the best have to take an L sometimes, just ask me how I felt about Venice losing to Vero Beach this year and IMG last year lol. Good luck!

Vero Beach didn’t panic when they played Venice or Pahokee, that’s for sure. I don’t agree with you about the “nastiness” part. Vero Beach is a good ball club and has been playing excellent football this year with wins over Venice, Pahokee, and Centennial, all quality football teams that have won States at some point or another. But where is your optimism? I’m sure that Vero Beach will win states this year. I’m telling you man Vero Beach has a special team this year. They look better than previous years and their defense this year is the real deal. As long as they stay consistent with the passing game and their defense keeps up like this, Vero Beach is going to be the 2018 Class 8a State Champion.

Venice vs Champagnat Catholic and IMG vs Superior Collegiate could both be nail biters next week, 2 very heavyweight matchups

But passing was Venice’s strength last year too, and we had a veteran squad last year compiled of 30+ seniors. I think it’s safe to assume that if a team is unstoppable through the air, they have some pretty experienced wide receivers and one hell of a quarterback.

Yeah but the problem is Vero Beach returns a very veteran squad this year. Venice and Pahokee were the only two teams that had a chance to upset Vero Beach this year. You’ll see what happens in the Vero Beach vs Venice rematch next year when you guys are down and we are up.
