I wish Coach Brown the best. -
As everyone restores their accounts, I will connect back up your old posts through a method that I can do that so your post count will be back to normal. However recreating the accounts will require you to do it first, before I can make the next move.

Alachua Santa Fe to travel out-of-state in 2014
Joshua Wilson replied to Joshua Wilson's topic in The Huddle
This is true, but any team that wants to get better will. Remember this...Santa Fe is the only team in Alachua County with three state championship. Bill Wiles has won it before at Graceville I believe. He has a plan for that program and it seems to be working nicely. Doesn't happen overnight. -

Talked to Santa Fe head coach Bill Wiles just few minutes ago and he has told me that they are finalizing details to play Coffee High in Georgia on Saturday, August 23. This game would be part of the Erk Russell Classic which will be held at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. Once I have more details I will post them here.

The Spruce Creek Hawks are going to go get a big taste of Texas come early September when they will take on Ozen High School located in Beaumont. This information was announced on Spruce Creek's football page on Facebook. According, to our partner TexasHSFootball.com Ozen High School will be a Class 5A school starting with the 2014 season which has an enrollment of 1,162. Texas is currently in the process of realigning its districts for the next two years. Ozen's enrollment numbers would match up to our current Class 5A levels. Ozen was 3-7 in 2013, but they relied on a lot of underclassmen. This matchup could prove out to be a great one for both teams.

Looks like Miramar's head coach is leaving for West Virginia
Joshua Wilson replied to Joshua Wilson's topic in The Huddle
Roland hasn't left Central...otherwise that would have been big news. -
First reported by us last night, Tenoroc head coach Mike Burns stepped down yesterday after one season on the job. He told me he is pursuing a new opportunity outside of the classroom. Tenoroc will now be seeking its third head coach in as many seasons. Even after our initial tweet, Aimee Sachs from the Lakeland Ledger suggested that the position might not be one that could be easily filled. We will watch to see what happens with the situation at Tenoroc.

Marion County shook up the Coaches Moving Van today when one coach stepped down and another was hired. Alex Castaneda stepped down at Vanguard this afternoon after five seasons as the coach, however minutes later, North Marion announced it hired Stephen Field as its next head coach. With the Vanguard change, four Marion County schools will have new head coaches for the 2014 season that will also include West Port and Dunnellon.

LardBrick and gwdrum75...come collect your prizes!
Joshua Wilson replied to Joshua Wilson's topic in The Huddle
Since LardBrick has not claimed his/her prize for winning on the pick'ems contest I have decided to pick a winner from anyone who will want to attend one of the games from the names that were entered in the random drawing contest done a week ago. I appreciate everyone who participated, but since this happened and I have waited for over a week for a response, with not even a reply on here, it has been left to my discretion to distribute the unclaimed tickets as I see fit and also to satisfy requirements for Road To Orlando. That was on the 2A game.....was so glad 1A had a bunch turn out.

Nothing was ever reported by the FHSAA...the numbers were so small they would have been embarrassing. I would say under 500 showed up for the game.
