I thought you were talking about college level.... If a HS coach is talking to a MS player and trying to get them to come to their school, that would not be a smart move and would likely get that school slapped by the FHSAA and likely cost him his job as well. (If I misunderstood what you were saying, I apologize. I know there are concerns among this kind of stuff these days and how things can be handled and should be handled)

Also to add on to this, I have been told several times that a game announcement would be coming, but nothing has materialized.

This is a BIG BURNING QUESTION. Who is Plant playing for game #10 this year? Week's 1 & 11 are in the hold pattern waiting to see which slot gets game #10. I have been told they were possibly getting an OOS game, but I haven't been able to put my finger full on it if this is true. At this point you have to figure they would have something on the schedule considering practices start in less than one month and we are less than two months out from the regular season starting. Hopefully the mystery ends pretty soon!

What I am going to do is if we can organize this list going week by week, which i will do as I go through getting scoreboards setup over the next couple of weeks. I think the list is going to be a bit longer this year when it comes to these games. Should be fun to keep track of what happens.

Some of them have been doing this. Really to be honest I think it is too early to start looking at film when they are in middle school. I say wait until after they get through the 9th grade at least.

It won't be Bud O'Hara at East Ridge this year...O'Hara was dismissed after the season by the school. Made a lot of people mad, but they wanted to go a different direction.

EDIT: Lake Mary Prep has just canceled its program for at least the 2013 season. This now leaves at least 8 teams (team #9 was a team that appear to have had another game lined up way before this happened). I have listed those teams below and a couple others looking for games. Hopefully this helps out everyone trying to fill holes on their schedules of any school listed below or other schools needing to fill in dates that are needed. You are right Joker. It is nice having a mix of small and large school teams that are worthy of being in different sets of rankings.

5 or 6 range for Raines. They do have a few tough games including ones against Miami Noethwestern and Lakewood out of St. Petersburg.

All those teams are deserving. However, how about the Joey Wiles led St. Augustine Yellow Jackets? The one thing is they have Bartram Trail's number. The Bears have come close, but never have bested the Yellow Jackets. Other teams I think that could register here depending on how you see it include Raines, Trinity Christian and University Christian.

Not sure I totally agree with these rankings. Miami Central (#3) and Miami Booker T. Washington (#8) are the only Florida teams to make the list. If there is any consolation in this, Texas only had one team ranked (Allen at #6). From what it appears, these are computer rankings and it doesn't seem to be factoring in some other things. Neighborhood rivalries are sometimes the best games you can get.

I think this is one game that can go either way most years depending on how the teams are doing and when the game is played on the schedule.

Reminds me of the stories I have been told about Middleburg vs Orange Park back in the late 80's/early 90's. It would always be packed full at whoever was hosting the rivalry game that year and for a couple of years this game had determined who the district champion was and basically the playoffs spot as well. Back in the day before the playoffs included district runner-ups.
