Dade Christian canceled their week 0 game against Bainbridge GA and their week 1 game against Pike Road AL. Norland, Edison and Hialeah all cancelled their week 1 games up in the Atlanta area. pretty close to the season to be canceling. Wonder what the reasons are and if they knew those reasons before

I heard of the Somerset Academy teams like the ones in Pembroke, Silver Palms in Miami, Key in Deerfield Beach and Canyons in Boynton Beach. Also one in South Homestead. I figured this one was like those.

I’m saying the state is so poor with providing resources for coaches and players you would think the FHSAA would step it up and they don’t. They shit the bed. They punt their responsibility to maxpreps who is even more incompetent than they are. Where are the fu*^%#g schedules?? It’s already August for Christ’s sake

I am not blaming the FHSAA for shit coaches salaries. I was using that as a pretext to the point that we have all this talent and not a damn lick for resources. With coaches pay so bad, you would think the FHSAA would step it up and act like a competent governing body. Not add more shit to the shit show. I could be mistaken but there was something on the docket that said do you agree to a 25 cents surcharge for all sports tickets bought in Florida and that money goes to high school coaches and the voters shot it down! Sad that the NCAA and NFL make billions from players who were coached, guided, nurtured and taught by high school coaches who cared, and they don’t get a lick. SMDH

Wow. What a travesty. The sheer talent and quality of football that is played in this state is off the charts. And the coaches are paid like shit, and the state association gets paid to be incompetent and punt their responsibilities to third parties who are just as incompetent as they are. What a waste

And if you accuse someone of recruiting, I’m assuming you would post the proof of it. Why would you call it out and not at least benefit from the info? Why would you just do it to piss someone off? Wouldn’t the Suwannee coach who has the goods feel compelled to give this info to the FHSAA especially if he is being hit by it? recruiting can have real world consequences. What if you lose kids to someone recruiting and you have a bad year and get fired? That’s your livelihood. I don’t think a coach would call it out without evidence

What Suwannee coach and is there a link to him saying it? If it was just in passing who told you he said it? How credible is that person? These are basic questions to avoid fake news
