Hayford was offered Hudson job, but turned it down

Phil Hayford’s name has been mentioned numerous times around the Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida area the last few months for open coaching positions since he left St. Petersburg Shorecrest Prep. However, where he could have had a job, he turned it down due to family reasons, the Tampa Bay Times has reported. Hayford was the choice for Hudson to have as their next head coach, but turned it down after second thoughts. However he said he could have a new job pretty soon. Dwyer tight end will play at FAU

Tampa Bay Tech defensive back signs with Peru State College in Nebraska

Devaun Stephens officially will be heading to the next level to play college football, the Tampa Bay Times has reported. Stephens will be taking his talents with him to Peru State College, an NAIA school in Nebraska. Titans head coach Jayson Roberts announced the signing this morning.
