Where: Lake Gibson’s Virgil Ramage Stadium
Districts: Winter Haven & Lake Gibson | 10-6A
Why: This district showdown will allow for either Winter Haven or Lake Gibson to jockey for the top position in the District 10-6A standings, but that is not the only reason this game made this list. This will be a show of future Division I talent that will see how everyone performs under the lights and in the pads with college coaches observing from the sidelines. Take Winter Haven’s RB Adam Lane who is a Florida commit and bring in Lake Gibson’s studs including FB/TE Kennard Swanson (LSU commit), WR Eric Carter (Cincinnati commit) and RB Tyler Brown (Iowa State commit) and you will have some offensive fireworks setting up for sure. It is likely that this game will come down to who ever has the final possession overall.
