Welcome to our in depth coverage of the 2013 Under Armour All-America Game. We will presenting previews of all the positions through out the week. This first preview will look in depth of all the quarterbacks in this year’s game.
#1 Christian Hackenberg | Fork Union Military Academy | Fork Union, VA | 6’4, 212 | Penn State
Committed to Penn State in February 2012, Hackenberg is a pocket passer who relies on his arm strength and pinpoint accuracy. Hackenberg, ranked 16th on ESPN 150, chose the Nittany Lions over Alabama, Florida and South Carolina among notable schools. Penn State still faces a postseason ban for another three years, which would make Hackenberg ineligible for the postseason until at least his sophomore year.
#7 Zack Greenlee | Lincoln HS | Stockton, CA | 6’2, 187 | Fresno State
Committed to Fresno State in October 2012, Greenlee will rely on his accuracy and ability to read defenses when playing for the Bulldogs. As the 120th ranked player on ESPN 150, Greenlee chose Fresno State over BYU, Cal and UCLA. Greenlee threw for 1,953 yards, 22 touchdowns with only 2 INT as a senior at Lincoln HS (CA). Lincoln High is also home to two famous NFL running backs: Hall of Famer Marcus Allen and All-Pro Terrell Davis.
#18 Cooper Bateman | Cottonwood HS | Salt Lake City, UT | 6’3, 196 | Alabama
Cooper Bateman committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide back in May 2012. Bateman had 12 other offers from FBS schools, including Alabama rival Auburn. The 6’3 pocket passer from Utah will get a year to watch Alabama veteran QB A.J. McCarron before his number is called by head coach Nick Saban. Bateman, the 89th ranked recruit on ESPN 150, threw for 2,384 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior at Cottonwood HS. He also ran for another dozen touchdowns.
#19 Kohl Stewart | Saint Pius X HS | Houston, TX | 6’2, 195 | Texas A&M
College Station is getting another elite quarterback on their team. Kohl Stewart committed to Texas A&M back in July 2011. Stewart, rated 91st on the ESPN 150, is listed as inactive for the Under Armour game and will not make the trip to Florida. The Saint Pius X star is committed to play football and baseball for the Aggies, but with Stewart projected as a first-round pick in the 2013 MLB Draft, people question if the highly regarded pitcher will forgo college and head straight to Major League Baseball.
#12 Shane Morris | De La Salle Collegiate | Warren, MI | 6’3, 190 | Michigan
Committed to Michigan, Morris is a very athletic pocket quarterback that will thrive off his arm strength and use his ability to read defenses to make a big time play. Morris committed to the Michigan Wolverines on May 10, 2011 and is the 54th ranked player overall on the ESPN 150 player rankings. Morris also participated in the 2012 Elite 11 Finals this past summer.
#14 Brice Ramsey | Camden County | Kingsland, GA | 6’2, 196 | Georgia
Playing at one of the premiere high school football programs in Georgia and in the country, Brice Ramsey, pocket passer that is very similar to that of Shane Morris, that will be counting on a splendid accuracy to help tear the defense apart. Ramsey committed to Georgia on July 15, 2011 and is the 94th overall rated player on the ESPN 150 player ranking for 2013. In his senior season, Ramey had 1,396 passing yards and 19 touchdowns.
#19 Kevin Olsen | Wayne Hills | Wayne, NJ | 6’2, 195 | Miami, FL

His commitment with the Hurricanes was made on May 18 and he is rated 67th overall on the 2013 ESPN 150 player rankings. Olsen, an Elite 11 finals participant, is the brother of Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and former Virginia quarterback Christian Olsen.
