EDITOR’S NOTE: We asked Joe special permission to start running his rankings earlier than what he normally releases them. We appreciate the fact he is willing to because what Joe does with his formula is by far one of the best in the nation. We are proud to run Joe’s rankings and forecasts each week during the season and we will also be taking the rankings and adding them into the compilation poll which will be out either later tonight or tomorrow.

FLORIDA’S POWER 25 listings show rank, team, record and classification in parentheses, and power rating. Rankings for each classification show rank, team, record in parentheses, and power rating.

Joe Pinkos’ Power Ratings are calculated by a formula based on strength of opposition and margin of victory with greater weight given to recent games. To determine the forecasted margin of victory between any two teams, simply figure the difference in the respective power ratings.
