Comment: A week after opening the season with a 49-27 loss at Camden County, Lincoln held off visiting Pensacola 31-27 in the home opener. With 4:19 left in the game and trailing 27-24, junior tailback Ricky Henrilus broke off a 37-yard touchdown run to put the Trojans ahead for good.

3. Port St. Joe

Comment: Jarkeice Davis rushed for 248 yards and all six touchdowns on 14 carries helping Port St Joe rout arch-rival Wewahitchka 41-7 for the eleventh straight time.
