Here are the Class 3A Preseason Rankings from FloridaHSFootball.com.
Class 3A Top 5
1. Trinity Christian (Jacksonville): Defending Class 3A State Champion graduated a lot, but also brings back quite a bit along with a few transfers, most notably DJ Matthews who comes in from First Coast. Finished the 2014 season with a 12-2 record.
2. American Heritage (Delray): 2014 Class 3A State Runner-up and some feel this is the team that could win it this year. Finished last season with a 11-2 record.
3. Clearwater Central Catholic: This team might be young, but there is experience as well surrounding the Marauders. Could be the team that stops American Heritage from the South this year if the advance that far. Finished last season with a 11-2 record.
4. Lakleand Christian: Made a lot of history last year, reaching the playoff and the state semifinals for the first time to go along with a district championship with a 11-2 record. Will have to replace several key athletes from last season, but still have plenty coming back to keep the Vikings going.
5. Oxbridge Academy: New kids on the block in Class 3A, but has shown us the last two seasons that they got some athletes that could put the Thunderwolves in state title contention. Finished the 2014 season with a 10-1 record in the Gold Coast Football Conference.
