Week 2: Defeated Marianna 3-2
This week: at No. 3 Trenton
Comment: After having their Week 1 game canceled against Wewahitchka due to a viral meningitis outbreak. The Tiger Sharks came out in a defensive battle to get their first their first win of the season. Will have to be ready to face Trenton this week that has already ripped off 100 points in the first two games this season.
2. Fort Meade, 2-0, NR
Week 2: Defeated Tenoroc, 48-0
This Week: vs. Mulberry
Comment: It appears Fort Meade is willing to demolish any team that stands in their way no matter how big or small and has done just that the first two weeks, enough to call for the bump up to No. 2
3. Trenton, 2-0, 4
Week 2: Defeated Bell, 50-0
This Week: vs. No. 1 Port St. Joe
Comment: Trenton has scored 100 points in their first two games of the season and this team might be a serious threat to get back to Orlando for the third time in four years. That story will unfold for us more this week when they host Port St. Joe.
4. Union County, 2-0, NR
Week 2: Defeated Agape Christian, 51-0
This Week: vs. Newberry
Comment: Union County is off to a quick 2-0 start, but will face a big test this week against Newberry after running past Agape Christian last week.
5. Vernon, 2-0, NR
Week 2: Defeated West Gadsden, 34-14
This Week: Idle
Comment: The Yellow Jackets have come out swinging big time under Willie Spears and are off to a hot 2-0 start. They will get some rest this week before opening their distinct schedule against Cottondale next week.
Dropped out: No. 2 Baker, No. 3 Dixie County, No. 5 Madison County
