Each week during the season we update the Top 25 rankings in Class 2A providing our Top 10 teams as well as provide The Next 15 teams that we have ranked to complete the Top 25 rankings. Information used to determine the rankings include record, quality wins, defeating ranked opponents and strength of schedule. It is important that teams update their information with scores with us on a regular basis each week by emailing us score reports at flag@floridahsfootball.com, sending us a direct message on Twitter @FlaHSFootball or updating scores in the ScoreStream app.  Lack of information (scores) reported by the teams will only hurt their chances of being ranked, especially if they are having a solid season.

CLASS 2A FLAG FOOTBALL RANKINGS – WEEK 4

1. Alonso (Tampa)
Record: 3-0
Last Week: 1
Quality Wins: Plant
The Buzz:
Shutout previous No. 2 Plant 19-0 in their lone game this past week and will host Wharton and Gaither in two more critical district games this week.

2. Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee)
Record: 2-0
Last Week: 3
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: Hawks return from spring break this week and host Palm Beach Lakes on Wednesday and travel to Royal Palm Beach on Thursday.

3. Plant (Tampa)
Record:
5-1
Last Week: 2
Quality Wins: Steinbrenner, Riverview (Riverview), Seabreeze, Bloomingdale
The Buzz: The Panthers took a hit with a 19-0 loss to top-ranked Alonso. However, they rebounded nicely over the weekend leading in every game played in the Bloomingdale tournament beating Riverview (18-14), Seabreeze (26-0) and Bloomingdale (18-6), thus only dropping one spot.

4. Cooper City
Record:
5-0
Last Week: 4
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: Posted two more shutout wins over South Broward and Cooper City heading into spring break this week.

5. Dr. Phillips (Orlando)
Record: 3-0
Last Week: 5
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: The Panthers will host Timber Creek later this week for their only game of the week as they return to action following spring break.

6. Park Vista (Lake Worth)
Record: 3-0
Last Week: 6
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: The Cobras return to action later this week against Atlantic (Delray Beach) following a week off for spring break.

7. St. Cloud
Record:
3-0
Last Week: 7
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: The Bulldogs return to action this week following spring break with a big game against Lake Nona as well as a matchup against Oak Ridge.

8. Jupiter
Record:
4-0
Last Week: 9
Quality Wins: Martin County, Dwyer, Wellington
The Buzz: The Warriors return to action this week following spring break with matchups against Palm Beach Central at home and Palm Beach Gardens on the road.

9. Piper (Sunrise)
Record: 5-0
Last Week: 8
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz:
The Bengals remain undefeated with wins over Nova and Cypress Bay, but that Cypress Bay win was only by two points and might be a little to close for comfort given how Cypress Bay has performed in other games this season.

10. Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens)
Record:
2-1
Last Week: 10
Quality Wins: None
The Buzz: After having a week off and being able to regroup, the Panthers will look to get wins against Palm Beach Gardens and Palm Beach Lakes in this week’s action.
