No. 14 Jones Tigers (2-0) at No. 6 Apopka Blue Darters (3-0)
When: Friday
Where: Roger Williams Field, Apopka
Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
Skinny: The visiting Tigers are coming off a 49-10 victory over the Lions of Lake Nona last week where running back Stephen Sparrow (2022) had a huge night with 210 yards rushing and two touchdowns. The game for Jones last week marked only their second game of the season after losing a game to Evans back on Sept. 25 due to COVID-19 issues at Evans. Overall expect Jones to keep things balanced on offense which is mixing things up behind two quarterbacks in Julian Calvez (2022) and Tysan Robbins (2021) while Daquan Harris (2022) did not play last week also has had a key roll in the offensive balance as well. Defensively keep on eye on Rickey Smith (2021) who has two interceptions so far this season while there a handful a defensive lineman with a sack each. For the host Blue Darters, quarterback Jaquan Lowman (2021) is the biggest name to keep an eye on after scoring three total touchdowns last week along with a combined 235 total yards of offense through the air and on the ground in Apopka’s 30-0 road win at Lake Brantley. Running back Keondre Jones (2023) also had 119 yards rushing and a touchdown last week
