Four weeks are in the books for the 2021 Florida high school football season and the FHSAA has released their first look at the RPI rankings as we head into Week 5 of the season
As such this update provides the entire state a glimpse of what the potential playoff matchups could be looking like come the second week of November, but remember things change, as we still have seven weeks worth of games (including this week) to go and this is just a very early glimpse at things.
In Classes 5A-8A, district record was taken into consideration except on certain exceptions which are noted.
For Class 2A, you will find a breakdown of RPI rankings for each team in every region and a projected seeding (including tiebreakers) based upon the guidelines as published by the FHSAA (click here to view), as well as quick thoughts about each region.

PROJECTED REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL PAIRINGS
No. 1 Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) – BYE
No. 5 North Florida Christian vs. No. 4 Aucilla Christian
No. 6 St. John Paul II (Tallahassee) vs. No. 3 University Christian
No. 2 Munroe Day – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: Should be no shocker that Jacksonville Trinity Christian is the top seed here in this region while Munroe Day who is on the verge of having their best season in school history is looking at the other bye. The stunning thing in all of this is that Aucilla Christian has only played one game, they have been given forfeit wins for two games that appear to have been contract games, but were not canceled due to COVID-19 reasons.
REGION 2
Rank | School | RPI | OWP | OOWP |

PROJECTED REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL PAIRINGS
No. 1 Holy Trinity – BYE
No. 5 Zephyrhills Christian vs. No. 4 Foundation Academy
No. 6 Victory Christian vs. No. 3 Father Lopez
No. 2 Orlando Christian Prep – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: Stunningly in this one Holy Trinity leads early, but again this is still early in our view the RPI rankings and we feel this region will change drastically. Orlando Christian Prep has only played two games so far yet is projected at the No. 2 seed. Still a lot of football left and this region will sure look different come the final rankings are determined.

10 | Cambridge | 0.27917 | 0.50000 | 0.34722 |
11 | Keswick Christia | 0.27500 | 0.16667 | 0.33333 |

No. 1 First Baptist (Naples) – BYE
No. 5 Southwest Florida Christian vs. No. 4 Bradenton Christian
No. 6 Indian Rocks Christian vs. No. 3 Seffner Christian
No. 2 Community School – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: First Baptist has gotten out to a hot start and we like the fact they are indeed leading the region, but after that, there is a lot at play here and a lot is going to change through the next seven weeks, so buckle up because things will not look like this come early November.

8 | Dade Christian | 0.47083 | 0.16667 | 0.59722 |
9 | Westminster Academy | 0.44444 | 0.50000 | 0.50926 |
PROJECTED REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL PAIRINGS
No. 1 Avant Garde – BYE
No. 5 True North vs. No. 4 Archbishop Carroll
No. 6 Glades Day vs. No. 3 Champagnat Catholic
No. 2 John Carroll – BYE
QUICK THOUGHTS: This is really stunning to see a team with only two games played and another with only one game played even in consideration as the top two teams in the region. But again this is still very early and a lot of football has yet to be played, so this will definitely look different by November.
