Four weeks are in the books for the 2021 Florida high school football season and the FHSAA has released their first look at the RPI rankings as we head into Week 5 of the season
As such this update provides the entire state a glimpse of what the potential playoff matchups could be looking like come the second week of November, but remember things change, as we still have seven weeks worth of games (including this week) to go and this is just a very early glimpse at things.
In Classes 5A-8A, district record was taken into consideration except on certain exceptions which are noted.
For Class 4A, you will find a breakdown of RPI rankings for each team in every region and a projected seeding (including tiebreakers) based upon the guidelines as published by the FHSAA (click here to view), as well as quick thoughts about each region.

QUICK THOUGHTS:Â Bolles having the No. 1 seed at this point should not be a surprise at all as they are the best team in the region. South Walton, Marianna, and Baldwin are all in the mix for the next three seeds and this should be fun to watch with seven weeks left to go.

QUICK THOUGHTS:Â Cocoa is the clear-cut leader in this region and likely stay on top for the remainder of the season. The No. 2 and No 3 seeds most likely will flip flop from time to time between The Villages and South Sumter while the remaining seeds will be fought amongst Keystone Heights, Hernando, Astronaut, and most likely Umatilla.

QUICK THOUGHTS: Lakewood has quickly shown it is likely going to be the top team in this region given the tough schedule they have played so far. Clewiston, despite only playing two games, is sitting at No. 2. Lemon Bay and Glades Central are also looking solid early on, but a lot of football left to be played.
