Nine weeks are in the books for the 2021 Florida high school football season and the FHSAA has released their latest look at the RPI football playoff rankings as we head into Week 10 of the season.
As such this update provides the entire state a glimpse of what the potential playoff matchups could be looking like come the second week of November, but remember things change, as we still have three weeks worth of games (including this week) to go, however, the playoff picture is starting to become much more clearer with few games left.
In Classes 5A-8A, district record was taken into consideration except on certain exceptions which are noted.
For Class 2A, you will find a breakdown of RPI rankings for each team in every region and a projected seeding (including tiebreakers) based upon the guidelines as published by the FHSAA (click here to view), as well as quick thoughts about each region.

QUICK THOUGHTS: The only shift in the region this week is North Florida Educational sliding into the No. 6 spot while Rocky Bayou Christian slid down to No. 7. Outside of the No. 6 seeds, I believe we are looking at the core teams that will make up the Region 1 bracket for Class 2A.

QUICK THOUGHTS: Zephyrhills Christian has moved up to the No. 2 seed while Foundation Academy has moved up to the No. 3 seed this week. That is all possible thanks to Holy Trinity sliding back to the No. 4 seed from the No. 2 seed last week. There are no changes regarding No. 4 and No. 5 seeds and it looks like longtime playoff and state power Victory Christian is on the ropes having suffered their sixth loss this season last week and might not make the cut.

QUICK THOUGHTS: Avant Garde continues to lead the way in the region while Champagnat Catholic is sitting at No. 2 still. The only big change this week is Westminster Academy taking over the No. 5 seed while ohn Carroll falls to the No. 7 seed. As far as both Westminster Academy and Archbishop Carroll having the same RPI, the FHSAA manual calls for the tiebreaker procedure with head-to-head results first (which there is none in this case) with the winning percentage being second. As of now, Westminster Academy’s winning percentage would win the tiebreaker over Archbishop Carroll.
