Season Outlook: The Eagles are coming off their best season since 2006 and were picked to finish last in their own region last year. In that essence, they nearly stunned the state with a near-upset of Tampa Jesuit in the Class 6A State Championship in Fort Lauderdale that bookended the 2021 season. With that said, Pine Forest is already a heavy favorite to potentially win the Class 3S State Championship in 2022 with a lot of the talent that helped drive the Eagles to the state championship game will be returning including Hayes, Douglas, Wilson, Thomas, and Daniels among a few others. In the end, Pine Forest will be a dominating team, but how they get to the endpoint will be the question that will be will get answered throughout the 2022 season.
