SSAA 11-Man Week 3 recap report: Oak Hall dominates to continue winning ways in the SSAA

Four of the top five teams in the SSAA all won in Week 3

Oak Hall continues to dominate and lead the way in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference after posting 70 points in their Week 3 win.

Here is our Week 3 SSAA 11-Man recap report from Week 3:

TOP 10 RECAP

1. Oak Hall (Gainesville)

How They Fared: The Eagles gashed visiting Seven Rivers Christian (Lecanto) 70-14, led by the three-headed monster attack of Dakota Brower, Abram Jerkins, and Briggs Copeland as they Eagles broke the highest amount of points scored in a single game in school history. 2. Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale) (3-0)

How They Fared: The Lions continue to remain undefeated on the season after defeating Bradenton Christian 34-10 behind QB Anthony Barbar’s 268 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Barbar added one rushing touchdown to his stats, while Dwayne Wimbley Jr had 7 carries for 147 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns.

3. NSU University School (Fort Lauderdale) (3-0)

How They Fared: QB Jett Yurgealitis was perfect in passing, going 11-for-11 for 230 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-7 victory over independent Marathon, as the game was called at halftime.

4. Jupiter Christian (2-1)

How They Fared: Bouncing back from their loss at Tradition Prep (Port St. Lucie) last week, the Eagle took care of the Gators from Glades Day (Belle Glade) with a 48-20 victory.

5. Mount Dora Christian (1-2)

How They Fared: The host Bulldogs came out on the short end of the game with a 22-20 loss to 1S P.K. Yonge DRS (Gainesville) after the Blue Wave came back down from a 14-0 halftime deficit in the second half.

6. Oasis (Cape Coral) (3-0)

How They Fared: The Sharks remain undefeated on the season after defeating Canterbury (Fort Myers) 25-18. Frederick Harley led the team in rushing with 127 yards and a touchdown in the victory.

7. Saint Stephen’s Episcopal (Bradenton) (2-1)

How They Fared: The Falcons bounced back from their loss to Northside Christian (St. Petersburg) in Week 2 as they put a good 21-7 victory over Out-of-Door (Sarasota). Evan Brown was responsible for all three touchdowns Saint Stephen’s scored, going 8-for-11 passing for 157 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 89 yards and two more touchdowns.

8. Out-of-Door (Sarasota) (1-2)

How They Fared: The Thunder suffered their second straight loss of the season as they fell to rival Saint Stephen’s Episcopal (Bradenton) 21-7. QB Jackson Roth was responsible for the lone score of the game by Out-of-Door.

9. The Master’s Academy (Oviedo) (2-1)

How They Fared: The Eagles managed to squeak out a 20-18 victory over 1M St. Petersburg Catholic to get their second straight win on the season.

10. All Saints (Winter Haven) (1-2)

How They Fared: The Saints suffered their second loss of the season with a 26-17 defeat at independent Keswick Christian. Mangus Darlington had a passing touchdown and along with a rushing touchdown for All Saints.
