Hawthorne continues to prove why the are the top team in Class 1R while Union County suffered a setback on the road in Week 3 action.

1. Hawthorne (3-0)
How They Fared: The Hornets continued their state-leading winning streak to 15 games as they picked up a 46-6 victory over 3M Terry Parker (Jacksonville) on Friday night. QB CJ Ingram threw for 204 yards and 4 touchdowns, while Keenon Johnson had 15 carries for 102 yards rushing and a touchdown.
2. Union County (Lake Butler) (1-1)
How They Fared: The Tigers came out on the wrong side of the equation with a 31-28 double overtime loss to 2S Walton (DeFuniak Springs). Gavin Jenkins led the team in scoring with two touchdowns on 92 yards receiving.
3. Chipley (2-1)
How They Fared: The Tigers suffered their first setback of the season, fumbling to Holmes County (Bonifay) 46-36 after they could not contain running back Jameson Bacon.
4. Williston (3-0)
How They Fared: The Red Devils handled things against visiting 4S Land O’Lakes as Shamon Coleman threw for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns while Timothy Taylor Jr. recorded 2 sacks along with 4 tackles and 2 tackles for loss.

5. Sneads (2-0)
How They Fared: The Pirates handled business against visiting Graceville 32-6. Jason Patterson recorded 105 yards rushing, with QB Aven Tyus throwing for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
6. Newberry (2-1)
How They Fared: Working back from a loss to Hawthorne the previous week, the Panthers made amends and ran by 4S West Port (Ocala) 41-13 to get their second victory of the season.

7. Blountstown (1-2)
How They Fared: The Tigers continue to struggle on the field after getting run over 42-18 by 2S Marianna. Ashton Mosley led the team with 15 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and a half-sack.
8. Lafayette (Mayo) (2-0)
How They Fared: After missing their Week 2 game against Taylor County (Perry) due to Hurricane Idalia, Lafayette went on the road to Hamilton County (Jasper) and notched a 53-6 victory to remain undefeated on the season.
9. Pahokee (2-1)
How They Fared: The Blue Devils picked up their second win of the season with a 43-0 road victory over 4M Palm Beach Lakes (West Palm Beach). LB Jermaine Graddick led the team defensively in tackles with 6, along with 2 tackles for loss, while Henry Boyd recorded two rushing touchdowns in the victory.
10. Hilliard (1-1)
How They Fared: The Red Flashes suffered a setback on Friday night with a 14-12 home loss to SSAA Paxon (Jacksonville).
