  1. Fletcher will win that district this year, which was already difficult with an improved Atlantic Coast, Oakleaf, and Gainesville Buchholz. If they can make some corrections they have a chance at the runner-up spot. If not, they'll be home watching the playoffs in November.
  2. 28-7 Flanagan. Cypress Bay is still a decent team, but like you said, Flanagan is out to prove that last year was no fluke. They have been building towards this for a while, so it's just a matter of time. As long as they're not looking ahead to Miramar, (Which they shouldn't be) they should handle business.
  3. Watching that game was extremely disappointing and unfortunately coaching is going to be blamed for it, whether fair or unfair. One thing that has not been pointed out however is chemistry. You have kids that transferred in with kids that have already been there who are also talented and if the dynamics don't mesh, it can bite you just like it did against a team like DBP. One thing we all need to take into consideration however is not that Florida's elite have taken a step back, but other states have made efforts to improve their level of high school football, which has now closed the gap.
  4. Misread rule...if they were already in the playoffs and he turned 19, 9 he would of been eligible for the remainder of the playoffs. Unfortunate.
  5. Not true. The rule states that if you reach 19 years, 9 months while the current sport you are participating is in season, you may finish out the season in that sport. He'll get to finish out the entire season. He would be intelligible for any sport after football however (i.e. Basketball, Track & Field)
