  1. Dillards and/or Plantations (or even Hallandale's ever) roster now or in the last few years are not even close to what Hallandale has this year.
  2. I saw some video of Flanagan's Defense in spring ball and the season opener vs. Douglas . Good is not the word....they are vicious. AHP and Dematha should be a great game.
  3. I would take the home team in Dillard vs. Plantation on a neutral field I got Plantation by 1 pt just because historically they are a more consistant team. Sorry. When you beat Hallandale, Plantation vs. Dillard will not be a debate for a while...
  4. We'll continue this debate late Friday night! Should be a great game...I am torn between that and Coco @ Flanagan and Dematha @ AHP ????Decisions ...
  5. So it makes perfect sense for you to bring up Plantation losing to Dillard 20-15 last year as to why Dillard is better than them NOW, but Hallandale's 2014- 30-14 win over Dillard is a fairy tale?
  6. Do you think Dillard is the only HS team around that pulls starters. Do you think Plantation pulls starters? What makes you so sure Dillard has a better offense (or even team) then Cedar Grove, GA ?
  7. I will tell you "suspect". Suspect is a QB going 11-17 with one INT and passing for ONLY 128 yards vs. Stranahan (one of everybody's favorite punching bags in Broward County). Also, giving up 13 to Stranahan is no more impressive then giving up 7 to Gibbons.

  9. I would take the home team in a Plantation/Dillard matchup and on a neutral field , I got Plantation by 1-3 pts. The teams are very close #4 - # 8 in Broward in my opinion. Hallandale, Coconut Creek, Plantation, Dillard, and Deerfield Beach - I can see any of them beating one another right now.
  10. First of all Plantation beat Gibbons 19-7. Not by 1 SCORE. Secondly, Boyd Anderson crushing Gibbons was a scrimmage/pre-season KOC, whatever you want to call it. I put more stock into regular season games vs. practice games- sorry..... Thirdly, I have Boyd Anderson at #10 on my Broward list now. If you want to talk about comparing Plantation vs. Dillard last year, let's be fair and talk about ALL OF 2014 for BOTH TEAMS? Seems fair to me . So we got a nice win for Dillard 20-15. Plantation also was slaughtered by STA twice and Miramar 38-0. So it is fair to say Dillard when compared to Miramar and STA are way, way behind them? Since we are on the topic of 2014 Plantation/Dillard, it would only be fair to talk about Dillard's season as well? Seems fair to me....5-5 overall . Nice win vs. Plantation, Monarch and a down Deerfield team. Slaughtered by IMG 61-0, slaughtered by Coco Creek 46-16, lose 22-12 to a good Boynton Beach team, Handled by Hallandale 30-14 and this one is great. Beat by Ely 28-19? Are those facts correct since you brought up Plantation and Dillard last year? You can't reference last year when you want and ignore it when it does not favor Dillard...just saying. That is fine if the Miami Herald has Dillard at #8 in South Florida. I have Dillard in the 10-15 range right now in South Florida. I would not be shocked if Dillard wins a close game vs. Hallandale based on head to head history, I will be shocked if Dillard hammers Hallandale and admit I slept a little on Dillard and overrated Hallandale. But, if Hallandale slaughters Dillard the conspiracy of the world underestimating Dillard is over. Case is closed.

  12. No. This whooping is going to make the program go into overdrive and they will be a bulldozer at least till Mainland...When was the last time Central and BTW lost in the same week in the regular season?
  13. Heritage played that game at IMG and lost it's best offensive player (RB Kyshaun Bryan) on the first drive of the game. Heritage is the real deal. Miramar still would have lost by a lot, but they made WAY to many mistakes in that game. This hard run of games for Miramar will just make them a better team by late season. I ain't writing them off yet. Right now, I would say one of their issues is the QB vs. good defenses. They will lose to STA, beat Monarch, Plantation should be a good game and should beat South Plantation. So as bad as they have looked vs. National Elite teams they could be 3-2 going into the Flanagan game and 3-0 in the District. Like I said , barring injuries playing these strong teams early will only make your late season surge stronger.
  14. So you got Miami Central 6th in Dade but 9th in South Florida ?? How do you get South Dade #2 , Northwestern#3, and Coral Gables #4 in Dade County but in South Florida you have BTW and Central #8 and 9 but no South Dade, Nwestern and Coral Gables? Central got their behinds handed to them by a better team but to me they are still better than South Dade, Northwestern and Coral Gables.
  15. I hear ya...and those teams did win, but it just doesn't look right . Seeing BTW at the 6 spot. After this Miramar/IMG game is over , I think most of us got a little shuffling to do in all three counties with these rankings.
  16. Zoe Boy, I am guessing you might have some changes coming for your Dade rankings next week? How far will BTW fall to on your list? I would say maybe to 3ish? I would still go Central, Columbus , BTW maybe?
  17. Nice. Another great matchup! That might be a tough game...Lincoln will be looking for that first W , and at Home.
  18. Not to change the subject Muckowl 2008 but looking forward ...Who do you got this Thursday night - Carol City @ Oxbridge Academy? Should be a great matchup Carol City looking for their first W after a subpar performance for Coral Gables and Oxbridge defending their Home turf trying to earn some respect playing what I will call a good Cruiser Weight team.
  19. How far will Central fall in our South Florida top 10 list ? Anyone bold enough to drop them to #3 or so in South Florida?
  20. Nice work! Looks like Columbia might need to iron a few things out on defense but a W is always a step in the right direction.
  21. I will be stunned beyond belief if they drop 28 on STA.
  22. Nice. Columbus did lose to Winter Haven in that Kickoff Classic but Winter Haven is actually one of the better 7A teams in the state. We will get a better read on Columbus vs. Jackson who is supposed to be pretty loaded this year. Do you think Coral Gables could win that 8A-14 District over Columbus?
