Should ? lol let’s keep it g twin if Dillard don’t win this district with No Sta, No Central No northwestern No Homestead , No gibbons , No American heritage it would be a colossal failure & more then a head coaching change would be in order I’m talking a sweep of the entire program LMAO LOL.

In regards to that Garcia school , what is there school racial demographics? For a 2nd year school you’re giving them a lot of wins lol.

    Suncoast - didn’t they go 1-9 last year ?

shiid all I kno is for almost the last decade Dillard has had one powerhouse or another in their district or that they had to face in the 1st or 2nd round. This will be the first time since 2019 that Dillard is on the north side of the bracket so let’s hope they can take advantage of it. I see an exciting season ahead if they stay focused each week & continue to get better.

Garcia pulled from Park Vista and John I Leonard (non traditional power football teams), and it’s the new tech school. If Suncoast went 1-9 last year, then 2/3 wins this year.

    Dillard should sweep this year.

If you had to gauge how would you rate Boynton if you had to. Cuz while baring hell freezing over I see Dillard winning our district by 5 country miles lol.

    which consists of

    DILLARD

    BOYNTON

    DR GARCIA

    SUNCOAST

It’s been a few years since Dillard has been on the north side of the district bracket so it’s good to know what to look forward to by these palm beach schools in the coming weeks.

Dillard should sweep this district. Boynton 2/3 win team.
Garcia 2/4 wins, it’s the schools second year.
    Suncoast 4/5 wins.

Hope your non-district games prepare you guys for the playoffs, because this district won’t. I thought Boynton would have some athletic players, but I guess they all transfer to Atlantic

  3. 23-0. Final. Pahokee didn’t give up any first downs the second half. Defense scored 9 points (TD and safety) in the second half. Offense has to finish drives, they had about 3 turnover on downs.
Health is the key, especially on the OL.

Antonio Simpson (soph, DL) might be the best player in the county this year.

  4. 7-0. Pahokee at the half.

Boynton runs a veer-option type of offense, with no threat of a passing attack. They have some size on their OL, but they don’t have the playmakers. They only have 1 first down so far.

Pahokee can throw the ball, we have the playmakers at WR, but the running game isn’t as strong because of the youth/lack of depth on the OL (they play both ways). The top offensive player is out (RB) so that may be a reason. The defense has over 10 tfls in the first half. Sophomore, DL, Antonio Simpson has about 6 by himself.

Pahokee is a predominantly black neighborhood so unless it's something going on that's negative people won't talk about it. Those that don't know but Booker T. Washington, Central, Edison and Northwestern are all inner city schools with a B ranking out of Miami. Now do you hear people talking about it nope unless it's football.

BINGO! Crime and Negativity will be covered.

According to my cousin, whose daughter attends the Pahokee IB program, many parents are trying to get their kids to Pahokee because of the academics. As 561 said, Pahokee has had one of the best graduation rates in the county in the last 5 years and is a nationally ranked high school. However, this is something I didn't know! 561 Did you know that Pahokee was the overall state runner-up in robotics last year? When she told me this, I was like, wow, and neither the district nor the community pushed that out. I just moved to overpriced Tampa 5 months ago, and if that had happened here, it would have been a big deal for parents and this area of Tampa!

The community knows about the accomplishments of the Pahokee Robotics program, it’s just the local media won’t cover it, even was the only school with a 100% graduation rate with no fanfare. We had 4 girls in middle school a few years ago that won the 4x400 junior national track meet

When is Pahokee, Glades Central and Clewiston all gonna merge into “Muck City High School”??? :P

That’ll NEVER happen because  Clewiston is in another county (Hendry). Something DRASTIC has to happen for Pahokee High and Glades Central to combine, because there’s to much tradition and history in both of those schools. The closest it came was Glades Central had to play their home games at Pahokee High be their schools/stadium was being built.

I think Omar gonna turn GC around. I think my classmate will do a great job.

I think he will, he has to rebuild the kids and the program, so I think Next season will be the year. That was a great hire for GC

  9. Never heard of Palm Beach Christian Prep, they probably are a new football program, so that game might have a running clock.

Santaluces is usually a 6-8 win team. They have some talented WRs, but the QB that led the county in yards and touchdowns graduated. D1 type guys usually transfer out, but they’re a solid team.

Is Carlos Lammons a coach that the Pahokee alumni and community likes

Yes. He’s head of the City’s youth football program and 3 of their teams won their championship. His brother was a player that went to on to play at Pitt, and his father is a legend as a DC in Pahokee history. He’s OLD SCHOOL, so his approach doesn’t mesh with the new climate of coaching.

Can you elaborate if possible on what happened to Glades Central and Pahokee. They used to beat everyone in Palm Beach and the Muck Bowl was always the game of the year

Pahokee’s hospital and the state prison in Belle Glade both closed, so a lot of families moved to east to West Palm Beach (Wellington, Royal Palm, and Loxahatchee) for employment. So a lot of kids from the area are now playing for other schools. Nedric Boldin (Palm Beach Central, Boston College commit) is from Pahokee, Ricky Knight (Cardinal Newman, signed with FSU this spring) his family is from Pahokee, and Akeem Dent (Palm Beach Central, FSU, San Diego Chargers) is from Pahokee. That’s just a few from Pahokee, I know Glades Central has the same issue.

Another misconception, is that the schools on the coast provide better education, then the schools on the Muck (majority minority), but Pahokee High has had the highest graduation rates in PBC the last 5 years, with a 100% graduation rate this year. The choice program has allowed parents to send their kids to Seminole Ridge, Wellington, Royal Palm, and Palm Beach Central. 3 seasons ago Palm Beach Central had 6 starters on a 11 win team from Pahokee/Belle Glade

Pahokee has hired their 3rd head coach in the last two years. Carlos Lammons, former player (graduated from PK, then played with Khalil Mack at Buffalo) will take over the program. I don’t know why the previous coach stepped down, but he still works at the school and I think he’s still the OL coach.

The reference to Brissett reminds us that you don't have to have a cannon arm to make it at the highest level.  Brissett has earned over $50 million in the NFL by being a steady, reliable game manager when called on.  Also brings back memories of his stellar 2009 and 2010 teams at Dwyer (along with Matt Elam, Nick O'Leary, etc.).  Seems like there was about a 15-year period where Dwyer was right up there with the elite.  I guess Dwyer has kind of collapsed since Coach Daniels left, and probably not much chance of getting back, but would defer to the locals if I am off base in my assessment.

Their top players usually transfer out, with Palm Beach Central or Cardinal Newman getting most of the top kids in West Palm. They had a good QB 2 years ago, but he transferred to Santaluces for his senior year and led the county in passing yards and TDS

Which Central, I see what you did there... noted

Palm Beach. I think Glades Central is a year away, because y’all gotta rebuild the kids and the program

Solid schedule for PK what do you see their record being this year

8-2/ or 7-3 if we stay health. Like I said depth(OL/DL) is going to be the overall issue

  16. Roster wise, Pahokee looks like a 1A school this year. OL/DL depth is gonna be an issue this year. Central and Newman look to be the toughest because of the depth/talent that we don’t have

  17. 8/15 Boynton Beach (preseason)

    8/23 Palm Beach Central

    8/30 Inlet Grove

    9/5 Seminole Ridge

    9/13@Cardinal Newman

    9/20@Palm Beach Gardens

    9/26 Forest Hill

    10/4@Lake Worth

    10/10 Clewiston

    10/18@Zephryhills

    10/25 bye

    11/1@Glades Central (Muck Bowl)

…..side note. Pahokee’s Joe Milton (though he played at Olympia, he claims PK) has been out-playing Drake Maye at Patriots camp

And lastly with the district classifications changing. Dillard new district foes atleast for the next two years are as following

    *Northeast

    *Suncoast

    *Boynton Beach

    *Dr.Joaquin Garcia

never heard of that last school, I’m assuming they’re a new program.

but a district with no STA, GIBBONS, AHP, CHAMINADE, ELY, MIRAMAR, & ETC lets see if Dillard is still a above avg program & can run away with this district and be one of the top teams in broward.

or if they fell off even more from last year & this district will be a lot closer then most predict. Guess we will see.

Garcia opened last year in Lake Worth, they went 1-9. Should be an easy win for Dillard

56-0.... The stream score is lagging! Pahokee gets revenge for 2015. Yes, next week will be a great game, but with the defensive coaching changes and finally being healthy, Pahokee looks like a different team.  The only team that comes close to Pahokee's team speed on Williston's schedule is Newberry, but Pahokee is faster.

Defense looks 100% better, I think the change was needed, especially with these run heavy/option teams we’ll see in the playoffs
