Pahokee has a patient administration. they stuck with B. Thompson through some rough years. Walkes, probably would still be the coach if he didn't embarrasses himself and the school/program during the Cocoa game and it seemed as if the team was just drifting with the wind. Glades Central is the program with the short leash. It seams they have 2 seasons to win or some changes will be made. I think PK will have a new HC and OC from what I've heard, mostly from players. Haven't spoken with any admin or adults associated with the program...so don't quote me!

Orson Walkes and Blaze Thompson (Pahokee) won in their first season or atleast made it to the finals for Thompson

2003 FL All-Classification Poll - My How Things Have Changed

Heard, they have a charter school next door (about 300 students, in close proximity) that participates in sports at Madison because they don’t have any sports teams -
I know A. Dent won the player of the year in Palm Beach County, but D. Nelson (Pahokee) had a better season that Dent(PBC), K. Elam(Benjiman), and M. Richards (Wellington), but they were the finalist for the award. This kid made plays on offense, defense, and special teams. If he would have stepped in during the Hawthorne game (the starter picked the worst time to play his worst game) to play QB, MAYBE they advance (since he was the QB last season). http://www.hudl.com/video/3/7637099/5bc2399fb022c11238a324c7

Those fans of MORAL AUTHORITY, that said since the people of Pahokee are used to crime, that's why they cheated...or called the players trash and classless, because one of their players got injured during the game...It's funny to hear that they may use some blurry/shady tactics at their home field, because Pahokee has no history of such things/ ...Call it what you want, but the fans (FANATICS) of the Baker program called the Pahokee fans, players, community everything but nigg@R...NOT ALL, BUT A LOT..Even the local HS sports writer printed a slanted story in their paper.

I think they count 8th through 11th...Since the seniors are outgoing they don't count them
-
Cocoa, Glades Central, and Atlantic are comparable plus much bigger (size and depth) than Hawthorne...PK has been withouttheir starting center for the last 3 weeks and the kid who played was either a 7th or 8th grader and that coincided with their inability to run the ball. Couldn't run against Wildwood either

That's the identity defensively and it's been successful (winning and sending CBs to college). That's also why they rotate alot of DBs throughout the game. #5 and #1 are the only ones who didn't come out. They struggle against teams that run rub/screens routes. Offensively, this has been the problem the entire season. After the 2017 1A POY (J. Washington) tore his acl the first game, they called plays like he was still there and like they had a veteran o-line. #9 rushed for over a thousand yards last year, but he wasn't the same this season. They refused to play out of the spread and put more athletes on the field, they have about 8 WRs that they refused to play. Also, playing without a head coach to lead the team doesn't help either. If they get the right staff in place next season, it wouldn't surprise me if they win state next year. Even though they will graduate 22 seniors, there are some super talented underclassmen.

PK hasn’t gameplanned for anyone all season. I don’t think they watch film offensively, because they come out with the same plays every week. Bama can do that, but the 99% of other teams must scout and scheme their team to victories

Hawthorne was a good team, but this was like the Seminole Ridge game all over again...offense sleep for 3 and a half quarter. Running vanilla, basic plays (iso, lead, play action) out of the i...defense kept the game close. But it was to late at the end
-
Refs the first half, but it was POOR offensive coaching the entire game. The defense forced 5 turnovers and only gave up the 70+ yard td pass on 3rd and long..The D did their job...offensively was embarrassing..
-
25-6. Hawthorne..Hopefully, the new staff will have a better grasp of the team next year...We’ve had an interim coach the last 3 games
-
18-6. 9 mins left in the game
-
18-0 to start the fourth...PK forces a fumble, then the QB fumbles the snap on first and second down
-
QB gives up another safety...18-0. Hawthorne
-
PK, qb, fumbles the snap to start the second half
-
Never saw a 15 yard penalty when you sack the QB by tackling from the waist down
-
16-0. Hawthorne at the half...Hawthorne scored on a 9 yard run (after an int), a safety (when the QB fumbled the snap in the endzone), and a 75 yard pass (on 3rd and 20) ...These officials are TERRIBLE...everytime PK makes a play (offensively or defensively) they throw a 15 yard penalty...a Hawthorne, WR, broke a tackle and was wrapped up by 4 PK defenders (didn't tackle him, just held him up) and a 15 yard penalty...PK had a 70 yard pass on the Hawthorne sideline, the ref on the PK side threw a 15 yarder (block in the back) when there wasnt anyone on his side of the field. Defensively, PK has forced 3 turnovers (2 ints and 1 fumble) but they haven't done produced on offense. Got into the redzone twice, with 0 points...Had first and goal at the 3, then like clockwork, 3 5 yard penalties. PK recieves the ball to start the 3rd
-
Chasing stars instead of talent...it’s enough skill talent in Florida, that they all can recruit instate
-
It’s already one school in 1A that should be in 4A..LOL
-
34-13 final...the team finally played like they cared, but it took a half to get there. I like Wildwood’s QB and RB and the fight of their d-line
-
34-13. 6:25 left in the 4th
-
34-7. PK. 6:00 left in the third
-
27-7. PK with 7:53 left in the third
