Pahokee's JV football team has won both of their games 22-0 and 30-0.... To put some context on this..Pahokee is a Middle/Senior school with about 450 students in total. So the JV team is filled with 7th, 8th, and 9th graders (mostly middle schoolers). The QB is an 8th grader with 5 tds passes in 2 games, and the top 2 WRs are 7th graders with 6 tds (rushing/receiving) so far. There may be 10 (9th/10th graders) on the roster of about 30. The OL/DL are also middle schoolers.

Didn’t know that about BB...like I said Ridge doesn’t have an athletic defense, some speed in the secondary, but that’s about it..BB probably got their athletes in space and had an advantage over them...which is sad for Seminole Ridge

Either their defense has some holes or they played a lot of backups...Boynton Had an athletic QB and some speedy skill guys last year and Ridge is not that athletic of a defense, very disciplined though..so it’s a possibility

Pahokee has a good front, so if that’s a weakness of Vero then that’s the matchup of the night...Pahokee has a talented group of DBs, led by D. Nelson (3 receiving tds, 1 punt return, and 3 ints) in his last 2 games (Atlantic and Cardinal Newman).

Vero only scored 28 last season..so why is it hard to believe they would score around the same...Atlantic was a 20 point favorite also

You do know, that there were 2 muffed punts that Atlantic scored on off a short field. A dropped punt, by the punter that led to a short field, and an unintentional squib kick that led to Atlantic getting the ball at the 50 right before the half...That's 28 points that they scored off short fields on unforced turnovers...Atlantic only scored off 1 drive the entire night, that didn't begin off an unforced error. If Vero will get those breaks like Atlantic did, then they will score 40...Remind me how many points they scored last year??? 40/50???

I agree, but I also think they could’ve/should’ve won last night...I think the unintentional squib kick hurt the most. Allowed Atlantic to score right before the half..When the coaches made Atl rekick on the punt also hurt (Lead to a muff)...Good game by both teams though.

35-21 final. These teams were evenly matched to me..Atl capitalized on the unforced errors of Pahokee...If they played 10 times i could see a 5-5 spilt
