STA put up 33 points on a stout American Heritage defense and seems to be clicking coming into this game. STA has won 47 straight playoff games at home dating back to 2003. If I was a betting man, I would pick STA winning comfortably.

You are correct on #1, #2, #4, and #8. 1. Bolles and Lakeland have each completed 6 undefeated seasons. Who's next on the list? St Thomas Aquinas with 4 2. Lakeland had undefeated seasons in 96, 99, 04, 05, 06, 18. 4. Lakeland is the only team to do it 3 years in a row. Glades Central came very close, with only one loss from 1998-2000. 8. Coral Gables went 12-0 in 1964.

Hint for the second question...all of those undefeated state champions were different teams than those listed above.

..and that's fine, ColumbiaFan. It's an interesting stat, but it really doesn't say that much because the data is not normalized, ie schools have been playing vastly different numbers of years. If one desires to use such data to judge program effectiveness, I think it would be more relevant to look at FHSAA wins.
