  1. I think Pahokee and Hawthorne are 1-1 in their last two meetings but the last time they played, Hawthorne won the game although Pahokee had the better size and talent like the Hawthorne coaches said after the game. Hawthorne just out-coached them! That year, the team lost faith in the coaches after the Cocoa debacle for my nephew was one of the best players on that very talented team. PK should have beaten Atlantic, Vero, and GC that year with so much talent and size but the atmosphere was very toxic.
  2. I am glad PK won, in which they dominated the game with players out due to COVID issues in the area but the backups getting game experience (Although a little too early in the 4th) is really valuable later in the season and for the future of the program. The defense is really good and the team do looks to be well coached but it is still early season! The big games are coming: Lakes, Gardens, The starting QB will be back for Treasure Coast, Clewiston, Lehigh and GC!!

  4. Last year's Pahokee team that lost to Dillard was not the same team that lost to Madison by 1pt from the state title game. Pahokee did not get healthy until the end of the season. Only 2 of the 12 signees on the team played against Dillard and PK also lost two players to IMG that would have played on last year's and this year's team. However, this year's team is very very young with the majority being 8th-10th graders. Also, both incumbent QBs was sent to live with their fathers in Miami and Lauderdale by their mothers (However, I heard that the Bouie kid was coming back to Pahokee this week, but he will not be able to play). Also, if Dillard played Pahokee's schedule last year, you would not have gone 12-0. The Bigger Dillard team should win this game but there is a reason why we play the game! MUCK PRIDE! Go BLUE DEVILS!!!
  5. FHSAA catering to the Panhandle region in 1A has to stop when they have not been competitive in a state game in the last four years. To make 1A competitive and exciting they need to do an emergency nonpolitical and non-catering redesign of the regional lines. The regional line for the north and south should across Gainesville not Madison that is about 20 mins from the Georgia Line. The way FHSAA set up the regional lines in 1A guarantees/predetermines that the Panhandle region will have one of their pee-wee league teams in the state finals. Therefore the Gainesville schools, Jacksonville schools, central area schools, Pahokee, Madison County etc....Must battle each other to meet the panhandle youth league team representative for the North region. After Madison Scored 56 in the 3rd Qtr, My brother and I left the game totally upset at the FHSAA when you can see the openly predetermine catering to the panhandle teams. I wish I would have went to last week's game in which my brother called it a classic and the unofficial state title game between Madison and Pahokee. Just as FHSAA continues to target the Miami Schools (where I am from but live in T-town Go West! Will be in D-town Wednesday as Miami Take it over) they just totally nipple feed the small schools in the panhandle when you look at all the classifications regional lines. I am not a Fla High School football historian but when was last time a team scored 70 in the state finals (I remember Venice beat someone real bad a long time ago).
