  1. Since my picks are being published with previews on the website... but here is all of them. Champagnat Chaminade-Madonna Cardinal Gibbons Hawthorne Miami Central American Heritage Seminole St. Thomas Aquinas
  2. Right pick first, but then it defaults to the points if there is a tie in records for the end of the season.
  3. I have had enough... Some of you all are coming on here and bashing teams, players, and schools with NO PROOF to back up your claims and now you all have got me in a position of facing possible legal action. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND IT IS IN THE RULES ABOUT THIS STUFF... READ THEM! If it doesn't stop, I am going to start putting bans on you who are doing it. You know who you are and I have had enough. I expect you all to act like adults in here, not like children at the school yard playground. If it gets to the point where you all can't police yourself, I will put in actions to moderate every post on here or those that can't seem to follow simple rules. If it really gets to the point, I will be forced to shut the entire forum down. I don't want to have to do that. Also as such, all moderators have been removed effectively from their positions as a result of this. I will have to watch like a hawk over this forum to make sure no more crap like what happened tonight regarding tickets and the bashing some of you all just did regarding tickets on St. Thomas Aquinas/Bloomingdale. If you got a problem with a school, go take it to them, but NOT HERE ON THIS FORUM! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Respect the rules or leave.
  4. They will get something. There is a formula the FHSAA has based upon travel and costs they have to submit to them. Not sure exactly what it is. And no one I know there has a 40 foot yacht... come on man. This was a solution for this year so they didn't have to turn people away. This makes sense.
  5. The news broke just a bit ago! https://twitter.com/FlaHSFootball/status/1332358250499608580?s=20

  15. You have some teams were they are going to have to play two play in games. Pretty much what is going to happen to answer your question.
  16. Nope, I have zero role, nor do I know how the blind draw went down.
  17. Here we go... We have playoff pairings! Find them all here:
  18. American Heritage Tampa Catholic Bloomingdale Carrollwood Day Charlotte Clearwater Creekside Trinity Catholic Treasure Coast
  19. I will not be replacing the game as these games are part of the Top Games of the Week I do. As such, everyone will be given a freebie this week. Take for what it is worth. This is going to happen here and there. If a change happens before I publish the Top Games of the Week, I can make a change. Once it is up, then it just makes it hard to change things.
  20. How about giving this more page views instead: https://floridahsfootball.com/2020/09/28/fhsaa-releases-updated-football-classifications-and-regions-for-the-2020-season/ GUIDE TO HOW THIS WILL ALL WORK: https://floridahsfootball.com/2020/09/28/a-guide-to-how-the-2020-fhsaa-football-state-series-will-work/
  21. BCAA decision applied to all public schools, Coral Springs Charter and Pembroke Pines Charter. It would have applied to Gibbons and Aquinas, but they opted out of the BCAA for this year so they could opt in for the playoffs.
  22. BCAA makes the final decision decided to not give the schools a choice. GMAC gave their schools the choice. Each county is each to their own as they say.
  23. Not only that, but it allows teams who don't get a full 10 games in to be able to still play if they do opt in and schedule games after they get knocked out. its the best of both worlds on this. This was the fairest compromise you could find to be honest. I don't know of any other states offering a hybrid like this.
  24. So what happen in a nutshell is this: Private and Charter schools are left in to choose on their own pretty much with exceptions I mention in a moment. All three counties have a county AD/conference of schools that usually coordinate things together, etc. Palm Beach made the move first and opted all their schools out. Broward with the BCAA went the same route except their two private schools that are members which is Cardinal Gibbons and Aquinas which they are opting in. Miami-Dade with the GMAC (which includes Columbus as the only private school member, no charters are members), they left the decision in the hands of each school. What it came down to is that Columbus and Booker T. wanted more guaranteed games. Its crazy to say that given that the FHSAA is allowing teams to play regular season games through December 19, especially if a team gets knocked out of the playoffs. Hopefully that helps some.
