|In their first ever meeting against previously ranked Miami Northwestern, the Raiders looked just as good as they were last year.

|The Hurricanes went on the road and defeated a nationally ranked Gilman team in a convincing fashion 44-14.

|Dwyer slammed a usually tough Glades Central team that was ranked previously #14 in the Small Schools Division of the Media Poll, 35-0.

|The Trojans have started the season with a bang with two wins over South Gwinnett, GA and Pensacola, but now face a big challenge against Columbia this week.

|The Hawks played knock out on Durant 48-6 to open the season and will start district play this week in the nine team, District 6A-8

|Godby faced a tall task against a very strong and nationally ranked DeMatha team. They will now prepare to get win #1 this week against Chiles.
