District Tournaments start Monday across this state this week in Girls Flag Football and we look at each of the four regions across the two FHSAA classifications in Girls Flag Football to give you some of our thoughts with the expanded district tournaments.
DISTRICT 2A-9
TEAMS: Celebration, Harmony, Kissimmee Liberty, Kissimmee Osceola, Kissimmee Poinciana, Kissimmee Tohopekaliga, St. Cloud
GLANCE: There is Harmony… and then there is everyone else in this all-Osceola County district. That is the distance between the top overall seed and the rest of the teams in the tournament. Harmony has played some of the top teams in the state including No. 1 overall Tampa Robinson. If anything, Harmony will be a clear-cut winner coming out of the district.
DISTRICT 2A-10
TEAMS: Fort Pierce Central, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer, Port St. Lucie Centennial, Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast, Stuart Martin County, Vero Beach, West Palm Beach Palm Beach Lakes
GLANCE: There is a lot to unpack with this district given not everyone played everyone here with planned subdistricts before the rankings came to be. With that said the clear-cut teams to watch for include Centennial and Dwyer, while Vero Beach could be a dark horse and has seen flashes of success this season. Martin County is another to watch and has been here before winning the district but has struggled at times during the season. However, could the Tigers surprise everyone including Centennial who only has one loss on the season?

DISTRICT 2A-11
TEAMS: Greenacres John I. Leonard, Lake Worth, Lake Worth Park Vista, Loxahatchee Seminole Ridge, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, Wellington Palm Beach Central, West Palm Beach Forest Hill
GLANCE: This another tough district in the state with one of the perennial powers of Girls Flag Football in Seminole Ridge leading the way as the overall top seed. Park Vista appears to be the biggest threat to keeping the Hawks out of the regional playoffs. It also we should mention that Wellington and Forest Hill have both competed well this season, but it might be a reach for them to possibly get to the district championship this season.
DISTRICT 2A-12
TEAMS: Boca Raton, Boca Raton Olympic Heights, Boca Raton Spanish River, Coconut Creek Monarch, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Parkland Stoneman Douglas
GLANCE: Spanish River has had an impressive year and is closer than ever to hoisting up a district championship. Monarch has shown some promising signs this year, but it appears that it will be hard to stop the Sharks from possibly outright winning the district. To put in perspective, the only loss that Spanish River has on the year to Davie Western, who has been one of the top programs in 2A over the last several years.
PROJECTED DISTRICT CHAMPIONS
2A-9: Harmony
2A-10: Centennial
2A-11: Seminole Ridge
2A-12: Spanish River
