Voting concluded Sunday night for the first week of our Girls Flag Football Player of the Week polls that we ran on FloridaHSFootball.com last week and we had over 245,000 votes cast across all eight polls we ran.
Here are each of the eight winners and their statistics from Week 2 that won them their respective region’s Girls Flag Football Player of the Week Award.
WEEK 2 GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PANHANDLE
QB Diaris Morales, Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach), Jr.
Went 35-of-59 passing for 372 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown in wins over Navarre (28-7) and Crestview (45-0).
Diaris won the Week 2 Panhandle Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 45.1% of the vote.

NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA
ATH Jazmyn Rivas, Belleview, Fr.
Recorded seventeen flag pulls, three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown with 32 return yards), and a pass deflection in games against Vanguard (27-0), Tampa Catholic (7-6), and Robinson (20-12).
Jazmyn won the Week 2 North Central Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 56.9% of the vote.

NORTHEAST FLORIDA
QB Izzy Murray, Ponte Vedra, So.
Went 36-of-52 passing for 371 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 26 yards and recording one interception with a 12-yard return across a 21-20 loss to Stanton and a 13-6 win over Andrew Jackson.
Izzy won the Week 2 Northeast Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 49.7% of the vote.

CENTRAL FLORIDA
QB Isabel Meadows, Celebration, Jr.
Went 37-of-56 passing for 361 yards and six touchdowns while rushing 13 times for 95 yards and a touchdown in wins over Sebring (38-0) and Dr. Phillips (19-0).
Isabel won the Week 2 Central Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 99.2% of the vote.

TAMPA BAY
QB/ATH Madelyn DePetrillo, Nature Coast (Brooksville), Jr.
Went 34-of-53 passing for 402 yards and six touchdowns, along with one rushing touchdown on offense while recording two flag pulls, one interception, and four pass deflections on defense in wins over The Villages (26-0) and Crystal River (26-0).
Madelyn won the Week 2 Tampa Bay Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 77.4% of the vote.

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA
QB/ATH Giovanna Molloy, North Fort Myers, Jr.
Went 8-of-11 passing for 78 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown plus recorded five flag pulls, two sacks and a pass deflection in a 50-6 win over Dunbar.
Giovanna won the Week 2 Southwest Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 43% of the vote.
SPACE & TREASURE COAST
RB/R Delaney Gribben, Martin County (Stuart), Sr.
Recorded nine receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns, rushed four times for nine yards and two touchdowns, tallied 13 flag pulls, one interception, two pass deflection, and scored 24 total points across two victories over Olympic Heights (24-0) and Goleman (20-0).
Delaney won the Week 2 Space Coast & Treasure Coast Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 44.1% of the vote.

SOUTH FLORIDA
R Aimee Colson, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale), So.
Led the defense with 10 flag pulls and six sacks in a 35-0 win over Dillard.
Aimee won the Week 2 South Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Week voting with 71% of the vote.
