Wildwood, the defending state runner-up, brings a 6-2 record and 95.7% championship odds into District 1A-5 with another title run firmly in sight. Somerset Charter is the only undefeated team left standing in 1A at 15-0, while Somerset Canyons enters with the second-best class rank in the classification at 12-1. District 1A-6 stands alone as the most wide-open bracket in the field with five teams carrying real championship odds and no dominant favorite. Four first-year programs in District 1A-10 make their postseason debut alongside one of the most compelling two-team title races in Region 3. With 16 districts across four regions tipping off this week, here is a district-by-district breakdown of the 1A field.
