FLAG FOOTBALL: 2026 Class 4A District Tournament Preview — Breakdowns, Championship & Playoff Odds, Rankings & Players To Watch

Alonso returns as the defending Class 4A state champion and enters the district tournament as the only undefeated team in the classification at 15-0, carrying the top rating in 4A and 93.3% championship odds. Park Vista enters at 13-0 as the second-best-rated team in the state, setting up a potential collision course between two elite, undefeated programs if both advance. District 4A-7 is one of the deepest brackets in the tournament with four quarterbacks — Gabby Werr, Reese Pittman, Isabella Vasallo, and Zoe Surrency — who have combined for more than 12,000 passing yards and 172 touchdowns this season. Wellington enters as the fourth-best team in 4A with one of the toughest schedules in the classification, while Harmony at 14-1 gives the Longhorns a legitimate path to a state title run. With 16 districts set to open play this week, here is a district-by-district breakdown of the 4A field.
