i'm going to say yes, it would be an upset. Simply because STA appears to have so much more talent this year than BTW has had in the past.

It also should be noted that I believe FPC is Oxbridge's biggest test since they started the program, aside from Cocoa in the spring. Playing as independent didn't set them up against too many big time teams so this is a whole new experience for alot of them boys.

FPC beat Oxbridge like 28-18 - heard it was a pretty good battle. Travis Homer had a 99-yd TD (think it was a kickoff return) and had another long TD called back for the ThunderWolves. Sounds like both could be shaking things up in their respective classes this season.

First, although I am a Gator fan, hit the FSU-LOU game. Here's what I recommend in Broward/Palm Beach. I don't have the full Dade County schedule: Cypress Bay @ Flanagan or Glades Central @ Seminole Ridge, both on the 23rd. If ya want to go to Central Florida, IMG Academy will be tested by Paramus Catholic (NJ).

Coulmbia - you do know that STA was invited to the BK Bowl right? I think Apopka and at least one other school were as well.

Josh Smithers resigned from Cardinal Mooney. Paul Maechtle (an assistant) will be an interim HC. Gerald "Skip" Saunier has been promoted to HC at Seabreeze. Zack Whittenburg in at Hilliard. Jeff Schaum in at Creekside. Scott McDaniel in at St. Francis. Tommy Moody in at Flagler Palm Coast Troy Harrison is taking over at Pine Crest. David LaMarre in at Tavares. Was at St. Francis the past two years. Andy Siegal left Boyton Beach to be come OC at Savannah State University, a FCS program. Boyton Beach replaced Siegal with Errick Lowe. IMG Academy has tabbed Kevin Wright, formerly of Union (OK), Trinity (KY), Warren Central (IN) and Carmel (IN), as the new head coach. Steve Walsh is leaving Cardinal Newman to become the Director of Football at IMG and will oversee things such as camps, training and development.

Mike Gregory returned to Tampa Catholic Mar. 23 after announcing his resignation about a month ago.

Oh I gotcha. And, yeah, I saw it the day or day after Josh posted your team page. Very nice SOS. Can't wait to see how it stacks up with some of the other schools who have a history of having a very strong SOS.

Yes, some teams release theirs early, which makes sense. If its done, may as well submit before you forget.

Schedules are due March 31 to the FHSAA. Dade publics submit its schedules in June or July - I think it might be because of the lack of field availability. (Somebody feel free to correct me if wrong)

Mount Dora HC Ben Bullock stepped down to accept the HC job at Ocoee. Gibbs is seeking a head coach. Lake Placid seeks a head coach; previously held by Jason Robinson. Highlands Christian seeks a head coach; previously held by Nathan Revell. Vernon seeks a head coach; previously held by Bobby Johns. Bishop McLaughlin seeks a head coach; previously held by Craig Moore. Jupiter seeks a head coach; previously held by Doug Uccellini, Jr. Westland Hialeah seeks a head coach; previously held by Mike Manasco.

There are some on the team's C2C pages. Can't really think of any that are really popping out as big games right now. Will be easier to have this discussion in April since teams are expected to have schedules submitted by March 31.

Still looking. Sounds like it could be an outside hire instead of promoting from within. Next in line was reportedly the coach who ended up leaving early and taking the Miramar HC job. Not sure that anyone else in the program would be promoted up.

Updates.... Keith Allen is in at King's Academy. Piper's new hire is being investigated for battery on a Taravella player this past season when he was their DC. Roger Harriott is taking over at STA.
