    last year vs Stranahan we went into overtime Stranahan got sacked twice couldn’t score then we got the ball scored a touchdown and the game was over.

    They ain’t beat CG.. They about to be 1-2 in 2 mins.. Idk calling the plays or who’s teaching these kids but their fundamentals are terrible..

    I agree that a system that takes into account more than school enrollment is necessary. I am not sure this is the system. I prefer a system where each round you advance in the playoffs a certain number or percentage of students is added to population. Additionally, for every consecutive year that you don't make it that your population is decreased by a certain number or percentage. Additionally, a cap of enrollment of 2700 for the purposes of classification would be necessary. I think that actually accomplishes the goal. In sports like Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball, so many of the quality schools are smaller private schools. If those schools moved up in classification to play tougher competition, the better off everyone would be.

    Or if we want a simple system, take the district record of each team over 2 years, take the best team move them up a classification. Take the worst team move them down. It would take 10 years for an 9A squad to move down to 5A. This does exactly what the FHSAA wants except that it does so over a gradual time.

    I will also agree with Columbia Fan, they could shrink down to say 6 classifications (including 1A). Allow teams to play normal schedule. Take MaxPreps rankings of top 64 (before district tournaments) and pull those teams from districts and allow them to play in an OPEN class. Allow the remaining teams in 1A-6A to play to a state championship. Accomplishes same goal, keeps districts (which are important for coaches and players), removes the "elite teams" from crashing a cinderella's trip to the tournament. 

    Oh ok hmmmmm so what will this incomplish? Mine as well make the elite teams play against the elite teams all year.. Have a separate district for them..

    in that game Dillard found themselves up 6-0 at the end of 1 and up 6-0 with 2 min left in the second quarter. And down 7-6 at halftime gibbons went on to win 31-14. 

    Coming into this years game Dillard is 1-1 coming off a solid upset over 8a power western while gibbons is coming in 0-2 having given up 90+ points in their first two games granted the competition was Stellar but gibbons also came into this year nationally ranked so most definitely not the start you wanted if your gibbons. 

    Last time these two played at gibbons was 2012 Gibbons came in 7-0 and Dillard came in 4-3 long story short Dillard had gibbons on the rope leading by 4 with 20 seconds to go gibbons on a 4th and 2 with no time outs heaved up a prayer and the wr caught it out of bounds but the refs called touchdown end of game. 

    How will this game play out idk but if Dillard is gonna win it’s gonna have to b out right because if it’s close the refs will assure gibbons win there is no way there gonna allow gibbons to go 0-3 dropping their 2 str8 at home.

    You sure the score wasn’t 36-6? That was doing Hurricane Irma?

    i never said western was some dematha or mater dai but they did beat Deerfield on the ROAD then beat a palm beach team who beat Miramar on the road at Their place with the same qb and rb and coach tandem they have now. @OldSchoolLion am I missing suen.

    No I’m not diminishing nothing.. That was a solid win from y’all boyz. But don’t make it seem Western and Jackson are world beaters...

    Are you sure that’s the same western team from last year? How many players they return from that playoff team last year?

    Between facing Miramar then Jackson the booker t then a extremely solid western team all on the road I believe it says a lot about Dillard not crowing them the new 6A champs but they are a team to be respected and token seriously
