  1. Bro we been for real for the record like I said don't sleep on GC

I here ya muckboy561....I got GC top 3 in Palm Beach right now.  Delray Atlantic #1 and a toss up between GC and Dwyer.  Just want to see them beat a good team in AHD this week to solidify it.  I think GC wins a close one vs. AHD. After GC beats AHD, they solidify the #2 spot in my opinion.

  2. After following Palm Beach , Broward and Dade the last few weeks my early season thoughts are  Broward's top 10 might be stronger then the Dade or Palm Beach top 10 right now.  Miami Central and BTW might be a little off early but will only get stronger as the season progresses.  Miami Columbus is still a very balanced team athletically, on both sides of the ball, and coaching. Jackson vs. BTW should be great this weekend....

STA, Flanagan, Columbus, Hallanadale are very strong and AHP, Miami Central and Coconut Creek are 3 of the best 1 Loss teams in the Nation right now.  Out of Palm Beach West Boca is better then their 0-2 record vs .  a good Boca Raton team, and a very good Atlantic Delray team.  Glades Central will get a chance to show what they are made of this weekend vs. AHD.  Still not sold on Dwyer yet until they venture outside of their Candyland District against a decent team in November vs. Delray Atlantic.

    Keep an eye on:

Boyd Anderson vs. Coconut Creek   - How will Creek respond (after a physical beat-down from Flanagan)  vs. a high flying, confident Boyd Anderson team

Jackson vs. BTW  -  Classic matchup with two teams battling for Dade pride!

Glades Central vs. American Heritage Delray    - Is Glades Central for real? They will be tested vs AHD who was just smacked around up in NJ.

Any other intriguing matchups I am missing?

  3. Well, to be honest . I don't think Dillard would have done any better vs IMG and STA. I also think Miramar would have played Hallandale tighter then Dillard. Finally, I think Dillard will unfortunately continue to be erratic the remainder of the season . Coaching and consistency appears to be the same the last few years. I think they have talent but I question Dillard offensively, and more specifically the QB.

  4. Oh yeah, I just wanted to pass it on to @Mighty because he seems to take a lot of stock in the Miami Herald based on his comments.  Mighty did not like it when  I thought Dillard was between a #10- #15 team in South Florida,  because the Miami Herald had them #8.  Should be a close game when breaking it down, but something tells me one of these teams is really going to expose the other.

  5. YOUR SFL rankings is falty because number 1 Hallandale IS NOT better then AHD NEeaither is Deerfield or creek and its funny how MIAMI HERLAD HAS DILLARD 8.!! in there SFL rankings but dillard didn't even make yours and for your broward top 10 u have plantation over dillard who dillard beat last year and dillard is better and on top of that plantation just barely beat a gibbons team by 1 score who just got blew out and held scoreless by boyd Anderson...?? REALLY.1!!

For the record.....Miami Herald picks Hallandale 28, Dillard 16 .  Again, that is coming from the Miami Herald- Not me.

  6. What I was disappointed about that game was the offense of cordinator and the whole offensive of coaches.. They had no game plan.. Their qb is still suck from last year and didn't get no better and it look like they didn't prepare the back up qb.. Even tho he did throw a TD.. The qb don't point where the blitz coming from and all he did was go deep.. No hitches curls bubble screens slants... Again try to rely on the wildcat... So basically what I get from them is my athletes are better then yours so we're gonna beat you... They deserve that ass whooping sat... At least when BTW got hammered and the starting qb was not getting it done they have a freshmen ready to go..(which should be starting for now on IMO)

They surely had no game plan.  I would guess not only did Dematha want this game more, but they were way more prepared.  I said earlier in another posts that some of these Florida offenses need to evolve .  Maybe I'm stretching a little here but if I could put Florida athletes in some of those California  triple -option offenses ....who knows how far they could go.  Another reason Central was not prepared was they have never been down like that for a long time. They do not know how to respond to situations they have never been in.   The players don't and obviously the coaches don't either. Hallandale , had them a little rattled last year but that is not the program of a Dematha right now.

Now that the National hopes are over , Central needs to move on and focus on winning a FL State Championship.  I would assume they now have the hunger, anger, and passion to get back to states so they have 3 months to prepare for that . They should be fine.

  7. plantation plays @ dillard this year and last year was @ plantation when dillard won.......................and if you would take plantation over dillard as being more consistent then if your not going to contradict your theory then based on consistent wise dillard has that over Hallandale and as for in HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUPS 6 straight years they have faced and as in for the last 5 dillard holds a 4-1 record. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Dillards and/or Plantations (or even Hallandale's ever)  roster now or in the last few years are not even close to what Hallandale has this year.

  8. @broward key word ....better dillard is better then plantation...do u feel that there not???

I would take the home team in Dillard vs. Plantation on a neutral field I got Plantation by 1 pt just because historically they are a more consistant team.  Sorry.  When you beat Hallandale, Plantation vs. Dillard will not be a debate for a while...
