So far their out of county opponents are Vero Beach, Venice, Treasure Coast, Kissimmee Osceola, and Dr.Phillips

They are looking for a week 4 home game and will travel the following season. Should be a solid schedule. Interested to see who they have on it.

Looks like Cocoa may have lost their 6'5 receiver to Viera. He transferred to Cocoa from Viera last season. His brother is still at Cocoa.

Cocoa has their new QB1 in the transfer from Holy Trinity who put up some great numbers last season. Also helps that he's playing on a national 7v7 squad coached by former Cocoa player Chauncey Gardner-Johnson

That back to back against Venice and Jones following will be tough. They'll definitely be well prepared to take another shot at the title with those games against Seminole, Venice, Jones, Apopka and Wekiva.

I've been here for about a year but was on the Southside. Now I'm on the westside. I moved here from Okaloosa county after I got out of the air force. I'm from Cocoa and a Rockledge alum.

Nice. I definitely want to check out a few games. I'm sure Cocoa will schedule a Jacksonville area team again. Not sure if they will put Ribault on the schedule again.

Any word on TCA schedule yet? Today I just realized that TCA is literally about 4mins from where I moved to and I definitely plan on trying to catch a few games now. Hopefully they can get another series with Cocoa going.

Lol again Madison doesn't really have to worry about transfers in or out because they are the only school. What's the closest football playing school to Madison? Also you can't say all transfers aren't homegrown because alot of players transfer from their original school and end up right back at the school they started from. Plus majority of students are in s district that has overlapping zones. Even Brevard has Melbourne, MCC, and Palm Bay all located on the same street, all 3 within 9 miles of each other. Then you can add Holy Trinity and Eau Gallie; that's 5 schools within 10 miles of each other or less. On top of that many students go to schools they're not zoned for due to school of choice, magnet programs, AVID and AP courses. So it's not always sports but hey why not allow them to do so if they can do it for different programs schools offer.

Madison would never play any of those schools. Yet Cocoa the team that beat Madison at Madison in the semifinals played IMG, Miami Central, Bishop Gorman and was even scheduled to host St Frances before the school board voted against it being too big of a game for the week they were scheduled. Booker T Washington plays teams on that level constantly. Making a game out of it and even blowing some out.

You act like Madison is the only small town/small school that has a winning history past and current. Plus madison isn't far from Tallahassee and they are the only school in their area so they don't have to worry about talent being spread to other schools.

Maybe 2 or 3 out of 10 games madison wouldn't be blown out or would make it a game and that's if BTW gets complacent like they did against Bolles in the state championship they lost

So the schools who are manipulating numbers see themselves on a level playing field as 1A teams? Why not petition to play in 2A if they feel they're not on level playing field in 3A. Or drop to 3A if not level in 4A. Better yet go independent or join a conference til you feel like you can compete again.
