    Seems Colquitt maybe interested in playing Cocoa next year.

    That would be another top team to get Cocoa started if it is true.

    I saw that as well. Definitely would help them for next season. I still wish that game with Marist would've happened. Or a game with Buford.

    They played Palm Bay a couple years ago twice preseason. I don't think either game was too close

    This season would've been a good year to play Palm Bay. I don't know how good they will be next season. Viera should still be pretty good returning their QB and key players on defense. Cocoa will be solid as always and Merritt Island will be good as long as they have QB to replace their QB from this season. Also Rockledge has a beast at running back that will be a junior next season. They just need to get their O-line in order.

    Bolles has played basically no competition compared to cocoa

     

    Cocoa more battle harden then Bolles, don't let the record of Bolles fool you, cocoa better team

    Trust me I know Cocoa is more battle tested and I expect Cocoa to win. Just can't doubt Bolles just for the reason that Corky Rogers is still running the program. Back when they played in Jacksonville both of them were ranked #1 in 2A and 2B respectfully. The game went down to the wire with Cocoa coming back to win on the legs of Chevelle Buie. Both of them won state titles that year.

    Hey Keem, I moved from Ft Walton to Rockledge to Cocoa. I am also a Rockledge Alum. 2 years at Cocoa High then trans to Rockledge to wrestle. We were runner up in 71 and the last team to beat Brandon when they went on their 30 year undefeated streak.

    The Rock is a good school. They are getting better little by little in football again.

    I was 3 and a half years at Rockledge and half a year at Bayside. The Rock is definitely a good school and Wayne Younger is getting them back on track. They definitely needed a fresh perspective on the playbook. Also have a great running back there as well. I graduated back in 09 and witnessed the last time Rockledge ever beat Cocoa which was my freshman year.

    They will run the Veer and a variation of the Wing/Option/Spread.

    Yes I do very well. I was born and raised in Cocoa. Brevard native and a Rockledge alum. Also went to Bayside for half a year lol. But I'm in Ft Walton Beach now due to the Air Force.

    Once again blaming others. Apopka didn't get any. Timber Creek didn't get any. Seminole didn't get any. Osceola didn't get any. LAke Brantley didn't get any. IF these schools did they didn't get many and no where near 15. 15 kids don't just show up to one school to play football. Are you telling me Palm Bay, Merrit Island, Heritage don't get kids into college? Kids are going to move around but 15 is a little fishy. Seems like someone has been promoting hard. We will see in a day if it paid off

    I personally don't think the actual number was 15 this season. Did they have alot of transfers yes. And yes Palm Bay and Merrit Island do get kids to college. Heritage has sent a few but remember they are a fairly new school in Brevard. But don't try to single out Cocoa for getting transfers. The players that did transfer to Cocoa did so for the opportunity to compete for a championship and for the exposure. Cocoa had players transfer out as well. Palm Bay has gotten transfers Merritt Island has as well. Viera has gotten plenty of transfers as well this season at key positions. The leading rusher in Brevard is a transfer and got a D1 offer this season not too long ago to Syracuse. Transfers happen for opportunities not because recruiting pitches.

    Plants not going to beat Viera by 21. From what I understand they're a very good football team. That should be a excellent game.

    The winner could come down to Viera making a big play on offense at the end or Plant coming up with a big stop or turnover. Most likely an interception if they can keep pressure on Demorat
